"I can’t be free from this lie;
Give me back my smile;
Caught in a lie.
Pull me from this hell,
I can’t be free from this pain."

Hoseok bit his lip. Yoongi glared at him before looking at Moonbyul, "We will leave now, thank you for helping me, I promise it will get better, okay?" Yoongi smiled softly and placed a soft kiss on Moonbyul's head. Moonbyul whimpered and looked at Yoongi. "He won't hurt you anymore, I promise,"

He smiled softly at the injured girl and let go of her hand, dragging Hoseok out of the hospital. Hoseok groaned, "Let go of me!" He complained, trying to wiggle his hand out of Yoongi's grip. Yoongi turned back and let go of his hand, immediately slapping Hoseok. "You fucking bitch!" Yoongi seethed in anger, his frown as hard as ever. "How dare you?!" hoseok glared back, cupping his cheek.

"Hoseok, I get that you might despise me - even though I still don't know why -  but not even a man in his right mind would lie about such a thing while laying on a bed, connected to tubes that are the only thing keeping him alive!" Yoongi spat, "I warned you about him, I told you I had a bad feeling about him, I told you he was dangerous! But did you listen to me? No, of course, you didn't! Instead, you chucked me out of your life like I was a toy!" He continued,

"How long had you known him for! Two years, while you knew me for fourteen years! You knew me for twelve more years than him, yet you couldn't trust me!" he said, tears pooling out of his eyes, "I was there for you through everything, Hoseok! Everything!" He said, sniffling.

"You were there with me after Kiyoung raped me while I was eight! You were there with me when I heard my father was shot!" By now, Yoongi was full-on sobbing. "You knew I wasn't lying! You saw these yourself! How could you think she was faking it!" He cried.

"I can't believe Seokjin would do such a thing!" Hoseok snapped, sniffling. looking at Yoongi while his eyes heated up, he said, "I love him, Yoongi!" He broke down in tears, taking the said male aback. "I know you do, but he's dangerous, we have to tell the cops," Yoongi said after a few seconds, ignoring his heart that churned at the words Hoseok had said.

"They'll torture him!" Hoseok cried, "They'll interrogate him first, if they think he's innocent then he'll live," Yoongi said, hesitantly wrapping his arms around Hoseok. "It's going to be okay, Hoseok. Trust me," Yoongi said, stroking Hoseok's hair.

The younger leaned into the touch and sobbed for a few more minutes, and soon, they were reduced to sniffles. "Come on, let's tell the cops," Hoseok said, hiccupping a bit.

Yoongi couldn't help the smile that made its way up.

"He'll be back in the evening, lets stay at Mom's today?" Hoseok said as they stepped inside the house. Yoongi smiled softly.

Hoseok was coming back to his normal self.

"I'd like that," He said, looking down shyly. Hoseok bit his lip, "Yeah, so how have you been?" He asked, grabbing an outfit from his closet. "I- I've been decent," Yoongi smiled softly, "You?" He added. Hoseok shrugged, taking off his top, "Alive, breathing," He said.

flustered at the sight of Hoseok shirtless, Yoongi gulped. He nodded slowly, trying his best not to stare, but Hoseok made it nearly impossible.

"Uh-huh," Yoongi nodded, his mind still hazed. Hoseok put on a baggy T-shirt, about to pull his jeans down. Yoongi squeaked, "I'll be outside!" He blushed hard and rushed outside the room, making Hoseok smile.

Quickly he changed into a pair of sweatpants and walked out to the living room, where Yoongi was. "Hey, so let's leave after lunch?" Hoseok asked, a small smile on his lips. Yoongi noticed Hoseok's fake expression. "Hey, it'll be okay," He said, standing up. Hoseok's smile faded away like smoke, "I don't know," He muttered, sniffling. Yoongi gently pulled Hoseok in his embrace, "I'm here; it'll get better, I promise," Yoongi said softly, stroking the younger's hair. Hoseok eyes heated up and he started crying, "why w-would he- why would he do th-that to me!" he hiccupped, crying his heart out on the older's shoulder.

"The world is cruel, Hoseok. Humans are not very innocent beings," Yoongi said, hugging the younger tighter.

After a few minutes, Hoseok stopped crying and pulled away from Yoongi. "What do we make for lunch?" He asked after a few minutes of silence, sniffling. "Kimchi-Jjigae and fried rice cakes?" Yoongi suggested, shrugging. "The one that Mom used to make?" Hoseok asked, making the older nod. "I can't make that though," hoseok frowned.

"I can make it," Yoongi smiled softly. "Help me out; I don't know where you keep your stuff," Yoongi smiled cheesily and walked to the kitchen, swaying his hips.

Hoseok sighed and followed Yoongi, preparing himself for the storm that was soon to hit him.

[A/N- Storm here doesn't literally mean like a storm, it means like him facing Seokjin and that stuff, which is like an emotional storm.]

After they were done cooking, they sat down at the table with their food, basking in the silence. Hoseok looked at the bowl and took a spoonful of the broth, freezing immediately at the taste that he didn't realise he missed oh so dearly.

"You good?" yoongi asked, munching on the meat. "Yeah," Hoseok replied and started gulping the food down as fast as he could. Yoongi chuckled, "Damn, calm down. You'll choke," Hoseok blushed darkly, choking on his food. Yoongi widened his eyes and quickly rushed to the younger's side. He patted his back, "Raise up your hands," Yoongi said. Hoseok obeyed, calming down after a while. "How did that work?" Hoseok said, his nose burning, his eyes watering in result.

"some random body hacks on TikTok," Yoongi chuckled, going back to his seat. "Ah," Hoseok said, wiping his tears with the sleeve of his top.

It was nearly four PM when the boys left for their mother's home.

Hoseok and Yoongi were sprawled in Yoongi's old room after they had changed the sheets because they were covered in dust. "Damn, I missed you!" Yoongi said, kissing his pillow. Hoseok blushed darkly again, "Missed me?"

Yoongi looked at the younger, "I was talking to this though," he said with a small pout, gesturing to the pillow.

Hoseok nodded, not understanding why he suddenly felt disappointed.
