I had passed out at some point, outside the house. I slowly sit up, sighing. I explored the remains seeing if there had been any surviving food, clothes or book. There was not. I sigh and trudge off, sneezing slightly due to a cold. I dug in my pockets and found enough pence for some bread. I  made my way to the market, and bought a bread, sitting on the docs to eat it. As I sat chewing the bread, I hear that familiar, snarky, harsh tone shout my name. Sighing I whip my head around, raising a eyebow. He squats down, "Yes?" I snarkly spoke. "I'm just curious to why a sly cat like you is here on the peer, and not with your family for breakfast?" he said, speaking in a rich tongue. "Stop with the stupid voice Dio, it's none of your business why I'm here." I gave a cold glare and shooed him away, turning back around. Dio sits himself besides me and looks at me, "Did you hear about the house fire at the L/N manor?" He says, with a serious tone for the first time. Tears well up in my eyes as I stare out to the water. My voice quivers and I reply, "Yes..." He stares, stopping for a second. "What are you girling about now?" he snarls slightly. I shoot a glare, and jump up, "And why do you care!?" I shout, before storming off. I grumble to myself, walking away, I can hear his slow footsteps behind me. I find the hill I used to go to when I first moved here and I sat down at the top, staring out over the market. He sits again next to me. He taps his knee, clearly not wanting to loosen his tough, harsh act, though wanting to ask if I was okay. I sigh, "My last name is L/N... That was my house... My parents." I keep my eyes trained on the people below. He follows my gaze, processing, before finally loosening a little, "Well... If you have no home, I'm sure George would take you in like he did with me?" I coughs lightly, before putting his scowl back on, "But don't think I'll enjoy it for one second!" I smile slightly, "Whatever blondie." He shakes his head. Our conversation continues, agreeing that this will ne our spot of friendship, and we eventually loose time.

We sat on that hill till dark, talking making jokes, the odd rough play, he had loosened up that day, I knew we had each gained each others trust (and I also corrected him when he tried to take control over me). He then dragged me all the way to the Joestar manor, and tells me to wait outside while he asks Mr. Joestar about me staying.

I was allowed to stay, and live. I was handed a mixture of clothes from Jonathan and Dio, then sent to the guest room. I settle in bed in just ky underwear when a knock on the door; wrapping the blanket around me, I answer. The door is shoved open and quickly closed, I stumble and trip over the blanket, "Dio what the hell?" I whisper. "Are we going to the hill tomorrow?" he asks harshly. "What?" I snap quietly. "Are. We. Going. To. The. Hill. Tomorrow?" he asks again stepping closer. I get back up, re-wrapping the blanket around me, "This could've waited till tomorrow, but okay fine, yes! Now leave!" I begin to usher him out. He nods, gives a glance to me, the blanket, then me and then left. I sigh, laughing to myself and laying down to bed, watching the light of the candles dance on the ceiling till I fell asleep.
