I jolted awake, and quickly snapped open the curtains, "DAMMIT LATE AGAIN" I screamed running out the room. I slid down the banister of the stairs and ran into the kitchen. "In the 3 years you've moved here, you haven't changed, your still in your slumber wear, go get changed Y/N" George said,  I scanned the table, with only a plate of toast left, and Dio being the only other ome sat there, feet up on another chair as he read, snickering slightly. I huffed, snatched the toast and sprinted upstairs getting changed while munching on the toast. I fnished and slid down the stairs again, quickly sliding my shoes on. I sprinted out the door, seeing Dio at the fountain. "You're a bafoon, you know?" Dio chuckled to himself, I shot a cheeky grin and walked on, enjoying this time of day, as the sun was just past sunrise, so the colours of the sky were still those orangey-blue shades, but the gentle heat of the whole sun was there. We both made our was to law school, when we got there I broke off, with a wave, to my class, as Dio did the same, and begun lessons.

~It'd been 3 years since the house fire, 3 years since that bond between you and Dio had started, only growing more and more as time passed by. You and Jonathan hadn't spoken apart from small talk at breakfast, you still had a deep hatred after thay day. After that argument, after everything... Anyway, in those 3 years, You'd discovered Dio was considering that he wasn't just attracted to women, and you had opened up about your attraction to men. You both equally accepted each other. You could feel yourself falling every second you talked to each other~

School had finished, and I met Dio at the usual spot at the school garden. Then we started walking towards the hill, the hill were it all began with us. I really liked this spot it was best at sunset, cause it have a nice glow... And Dio looked extra amazing in the glow... Anyway, we sat down, and did what we usually did, homework. I layed across Dio's legs and rested my notebook on the grass, and the book I was reading on my left forearm. Dio layed his books on my back. I felt him scribble something every now and then.

We did this for a while, and by the time we had finished, it was dusk. Conversation had been exchanged, bur no actual talk which was disappointing. I sighed and sat up, Dio packing his things into his back. I sat amd stared at the soft colours of tje sunset, the mix of blues, oranges, reds, pinks, purples and greens. "It's amazing isn't it, how this filthy disgusting world can produce such beautiful things as this." I said, in pure amazement. He hummed in approval. I stood up, and stuck my arms out, smiling, "It makes you feel free doesn't Dio!" I laughed. I turned around and he was giving a small smile. He stood up and walked over, I smirked and moved to the side slightly, he stopped for a second, and followed. This continued till he was chasing me around the top of the hill, and running around the tree. He tackled me amd I punched the ground, "DAMN YOU AND YOUR RUGBY!" I shouted. He leanex up, smirking proudly, "Stop being a littlw baby, you knew I'd win, i don't get why you challenged me anyway." He was very monotone about it, but everything about him was proud. I shoved him off and sighed. "You're a real piece of work." I shook my head, he chuckled, that deep gentle chuckle that ran through my body, especially at this time. "Good." He replied. He then grabbed his bag, and started walking off. "OI OI OI, YOU PIECE OF- GET BACK HERE, IT'S NOT TIME TO LEAVE YET!" I shouted, snatching my bag and chasing after him, he waved his hand, "I'm tired you idiot, I'm leaving, stay if you want, I don't care." He answered. I grumbled, finally catching up and trailed next to him.

We raced in, and I was laughing my head off, while Dio huffed in unamusement. Jonathan passed us, and gave a sad glance before continuing his way to the library. We both caught our breath, and Mr. Joestar called us to eat. Me amd Dip sat down next to each other and waited fpr everyone to be seated. We began eating, I loved every bite of it, it was a nice tender steak with crisp potatoes and a crunchy lettuce mixed in with various other vegetables; a nice thick gravy drowned the meat and potatoes, it was pure heaven. While we were eating George spoke up, "So, Y/N, it's your birthday tomorrow, how do you feel being a full man." I shrugged, "Just another day, 16 is no more important than 15" I responded, putting my knife and fork done neatly to show I was done. "Ah but you see it's the perfect age for wife and children!" He got all big and mighty. I loomed down and fidgeted slightly. "Father, don't patronise Y/N, he's too much of a chiclen feather to speak to a woman." Dio huffed and rolled his eyes. I nodded, George huffed and agreed, giving a little hand movement for us to leave.

Me and Dio left, and went to a shared room, as asked by me last year due to
"nightmares". Dio got changed into his nightwear, I watched his every movement and my face was bright red , for a 16 year old Dio was very toned amd defined. I shook my head and rushed to get dressed, accidentally putting on Dio's, "Why's my sleepwear so big?" I asked. Dio perked his eyebrow then laughed, "I think you picked up the wrong one shortie." he picked up my sleep shirt. "oh." I replied. Dio shrugged it off and sat on the bed reading, I flopped backwards, the shirt lifting a lot due to being to big, and the pants sliding down to under my hip bones. I sighed amd started at the ceiling, taking glances at Dio intently reading his book in the candle light. 'God he's beautiful. His eyes look like liquid gold in the candle light, and his face pf concentration always looks like he's drilling anticipation into someone, it builds tension... The tension it shouldn't and-' "Am I just that amazing that you can't take your eyes of me?" Dio snarkly asked. I huffed and flopped my head the other way. I then smirked, stretching my arms upso the t-shirt lifted more. Dio the threw his book and pinned my arms in place, and he hovered over me, looking angry. I snapped my head to him and smiled, "Stop distracting me goddammit!" He huffed. I stuck my tongue out and wrapped my legs around him. He huffedand threw me off the bed, grumbling about me being a stupid guy. I laughed and got up and layed down at my pillow, getting under the sheets. I closed my eyes and let myself relax. I felt my shoulder get poked, I pretended to be asleep and rolled on my side. The candles got blown out and Dio wrapped himself around me, pressing himself into my back, and breathing on my neck. A shiver went down my spine. I took a deep breath and relaxed into his warmth, finally drifting off.
