(Sonya x Reader) Moving

Chapter 3

We walk inside the neighbor's house. Wow. They have done such a good job designing their house. We meet Sonya and Newt's dad, he is really nice! There isn't enough room for all of us on the table so we get our pizzas and walk upstairs to Newt's room. He turns on his tv and we all make ourselves comfortable on his bed. We didn't really know what to watch so we decided to start a series on Netflix together, The end of the f***ing world.

We watch the series until our mom calls us downstairs. We thank the Isaacs for diner and walk to our own house.
"I really like that family," my mom says when we sit on our couch. "Yeah, they're really cool!" Tom answers. I just nod in agreement. It's already really late and I'm tired.
"Why don't you go to bed hun? It's already late," my mom tells me. I stand up and hug her goodnight. I mess up Tom's hair and walk upstairs. I get ready for bed but only now I noticed that my window is across Sonya's. I walk to my window and I am kinda disappointed when I don't see her. I sigh and close my curtains. I laid down in bed and thought about how I had already made 2 friends... Then I drifted off to sleep.

~ Monday ~

I wake up from my alarm. It's been two days in our new town. I didn't really do anything else than unpacking yesterday. Quite boring actually. But today is our first day at our new school! I slowly stepped out of bed. I'm not really a morning person. I picked out an outfit and did my hair. I walked to Thomas's room and banged loudly on the door. He never wakes up from his alarm. I hopped downstairs and made some pancakes. I always make breakfast because I really don't mind doing it. Also because Thomas can't cook. My mom already left for work but she left a note on our kitchen table.

I smile at the note. I hear Tom stumble down. I grin and hand him a plate with his pancakes.

~ 20 minutes later ~

"Come on Thomas hurry!" I repeated for the fourth time. Ugh, why can't that boy just be on time once? Suddenly I get an idea.
"Newt is gonna be here any second now."
Finally, he comes down. I grin to myself.
"Calm down, I'm ready, I'm ready."
Then we hear a doorbell. I grab my bag and greet our new friends. Tom locks the door behind him and we walk off to school.
"Soooo... Do you want to come over after school?" I ask Sonya.
"Yeah, sounds great" She smiles at me. I smile widely back at her.

"Okay, so this is the canteen," Sonya tells me.
I look into the big room and see all people chat with each other before class.
"And right here is the library," She tells me pointing at the opposite of the hall. We walk into the doors and the library is super big! She walks me to the principal's office and says goodbye
"I will meet you at lunch" and walks away, leaving me there standing alone. Where the hell is Thomas. Just when I think that I see him half running half walking through the hallway to me. Jeez.

We got our whole explanation and tour from the principal and Tom and I are walking to the canteen right now for lunch. I search for two blonde hair people and when I see them sitting we walk over to them. I go sit next to Sonya while Tom sits next to Newt opposite of us.
"Soo, how do you like it so far?" Newt asks me.
"The school is pretty nice. Don't really know yet about the teachers and the rest of the students here"
"What do you have next?" Sonya asks
"Uhh... I think math but I'm not sure, let me check." I take out the paper the principal gave me and scanned it.
"O, wait I have history. And after that Maths."
"I also have history now. We can go together" Newt says.
"And I have Math after that!" Sonya squeals excitedly at me.
We eat our lunch chatting about stupid little things when we are interrupted by people joining our table.
"Y/n, Thomas, meet the group. This is Harriet, Brenda, Minho, Teresa, Aris, Gally and Frypan." Newt says, pointing to them when he says their names.
"Guys this is Y/n and this is Thomas"
I look at them and they all look really nice, I hope we will be friends...
