The next morning:
Arnav was getting ready for office ,tying his tie infront of the mirror.
He took his coat from the recliner and walked downstairs.

Arnav(giving her a kiss on the cheek):Mom I'm not having breakfast at home.I'll grab something on the way.
Maya:Chote...sit quietly and have your breakfast.
Arnav gave up ,knowing his mother won't sit quite till he has his breakfast infront of her.
Arnav(sitting on a chair):Where is Dad? I didn't see him around since last night.
Maya(filling his plate):He is outside,playing with serious. He will be here in a minute.
Arnav(drinking his juice):Do you know whom I met yesterday?
Maya shook her head.
Arnav:I met Dads childhood friend Rohit Gupta.
Maya: Really?How is he doing?
Arnav(smiling): He seemed very nice and happy. Oh man...you must see his daughter. Such a crazy girl.
Maya(laughing):Khushi? She was a very naughty girl. You both used to hate each other.
Arnav(standing up): I dont remember anything I just know that she is something different.Whatever..tell Dad that his friend wants to meet him.
Maya nodded and bid him bye.

Jiya(smiling mischeviously): Was he hot?
Tara swatted her shoulder.
