The weekend had finally arrived,and surprise surprise Liana had made plans on behalf of me and Nai.Not that I was complaining though,anything beats staying at home with my parents.

Getting up I check the group chat to see Liana has texted the meet up area and time.Texting back I switch off my phone and head downstairs to start making my breakfast.

Breakfast to me was just an iced coffee, I'm not much of a food in the morning kind of person.It just makes me feel sick to my stomach,which is why most days I just skip my breakfast.

"I got a call the other day from Maria, she said something about you spending the night there" My mom carefully approaches me,watching her ground.Cautious incase I snap.

"It's complicated mom" I answer,not really bothered about the whole topic of conversation

"Are you guys seeing each other?Like intimately?"

"Ew gross mom.This is Vinnie we're talking about.Same guy who used to chase me around with muddy sticks. Intimacy is the last thing we'd ever have."

Boy did I wish that was a lie.

All I could remember was that night, and how much I'm craving his touch. His rough,calloused hands trailing up my bare skin,the light kisses he'd place up and down my body.The connection we had.

"Just saying,as a mom I always sensed something more"

Rolling my eyes I take my coffee upstairs,"It's all a your head" I tell her before shutting my door behind me to find an outfit for today.

I decide on a simple white cropped tee with a sequined red heart in the center matched with a red mini skirt.Nothing more simple but stylish than that.Slipping on my fishnets,socks and black converse I grab my phone and leave out.

Plugging in my earphones to listen to some music on my way there.I reach the skate park that Liana told us to meet her at,noticing her convertible I walk over jumping into the back car.

"So why have you dragged us here today?" I ask

"Two reasons,maybe three" she shrugs pointing over to Ash and his friends.One of which is Vinnie."They're teaching me to skate"

"By three she means three guys she's working to pull in until they're worshiping her" Nai confirms

I laugh,catching on,"And then when they're worshiping her she leaves trying to find her next victim"

Even though we were joking what we were saying was true.Li has this habit of effortlessly causing guys to fall only to leave them in a ditch.

"At last I can get guys" She scoffs putting on one last layer of lip gloss before lowering her shades and stepping out her car.

If I had to rate her outfit on efficiency it would be a zero out of ten,no questions asked.She's in a tight bodycon dress with a long leather jacket.In terms of practicality it's a wreck,she's gonna fall over and expose herself to the world.

Not like I could say much anyways,but I wasn't skating.

Regardless Nai and I follow watching as the guys skate around floating in the air,I'd be lying if I said it wasn't impressive.

I notice how Nai's eyes follow Vinnie, watching his every move.She seems fascinated with him,the way he adjusts the wheels on his skateboard.How he pushes up and lifts himself into the air with ease.

Infact you could argue that we were both just staring into space watching him move.

"Dude,check him out"

Her voice breaks me from my seventh day dream about that night again.

There's a blonde guy skating,and it's clear to say he's incredibly better than the other guys.Noticing us he skates over,picking up his board.

"You ladies looking to learn something?"

"I mean," Nai starts,"I'm not looking to die,but I'm upto learning even the simplists of things"

"And what about you?" The guy asks

"She's with me"

An arm grabs me pulling me.Vinnie looks down on the guy who's now taken Nai's hand to help her down the ramp.

The guy gets the message walking off.

"Why did you do that please?" I ask,clearly agitated.

"Is your wardrobe made entirely of skirts thay barely cover your ass?" He asks ignoring my question

"You shouldn't be looking anyway" I hiss back walking down the ramp myself to join Nai and the blond guy.

"I'm Esme" I tell him

"Toby" he answers back with a smirk.

Nai gives me the eyes-you know-the he's cute talk to him eyes.Before stepping back herself to go catch up with Liana.

"So why have I never seen you around?" Toby asks

"This isn't really my scene"

He nods letting out a stiff laugh,"So you're one of those girls who pretends to not like things in hopes of looking cool"

"Never" I scoff sarcastically

"Well,if you ever find 'your scene' you have my number" He smirks

"Do I?" I ask

"Now you do" he mutters taking out a pen to write it on my hand.

"Hey,I have to go but..I'll see you around yeah"

I wave bye at him,smoothly walking over to where the rest of the group is huddled.It seems like they're they're watching me as i approach showing off the number written on my hand.

"Who can't get guys again?" I ask with with sly grin.

Watching from the corner of my eye how Vinnie's stance suddenly tense his arms popping with veins.
