About a week later

Vinnie had been letting me stay at his house whilst i figured out what to do about my asshole father.I hadn't spoken to anyone in the past week except for him.

And every now and then,we have these moments.Like the ones you see in a movie.When the two characters realise they've fallen in love.Except with us it's different.I don't know how to explain it.

"You awake?" He asks from the floor.

I crawl over to the edge of the bed leaning down to see him smirking up at me.

"I gotta go meet up with the girls,I haven't seen them in ages." I answer

"Why don't we make it an event.Me and the guys can come too.I know Liana and Ash have a thing going"

"That's probably over by now.Liana isn't great at sticking at things." I answer truthfully

"And Nai?"

"Not into the male species,as far as I know." she laughs,"She's too cool to be worrying about boys"

"And you?"

"I'm with Toby, remember"

"You haven't spoken to him since that dinner party"

"Good point" I answer thinking about it for a second."I might see him again"

"Why" Vinnie answers

"He's cute"

"Right," he scoffs,"Don't say I didn't warn you when it falls to shit"

Rolling my eyes I get out of his bed heading to the master bathroom,to get ready for the day.I didn't have a lot to work with in terms of clothes so I had to improvise.

Using one of Vinnie's vests I tie it up so that it's cropped and I pull one one of his jeans.They're large enough to look like baggy jeans.

"I'll text you later if I need a place to stay" I tell him

"I'll keep my phone on sound" Vinnie replies not looking up from his game.

"Thanks for letting me stay again"

"No problem" he answers again.

Without another word I leave his house saying goodbye to Reggie and his parents on the way.

Opening up the group chat I call the girls,it rings a few times before they both pick up.

"Esme is that you?" Liana asks jokingly

"You're still alive" Nai asks

"Guys I have so much to tell you,for starters my dad is a fucking cheater,Vinnie has a fake girlfriend and I'm literally loosing my shit because I'm basically homeless."

"Woah,woah slow down" Nai says

"Hold up Vinnie has a girlfriend and its not you?"

"Li , that's the least important thing right now. I don't even like him"

"Okay whatever Esme," Nai adds in disbelief.

"We're meeting up with the guys after ok"

"After what?" Liana asks

"After I see Toby"

"oooooh" the girls tease

Rolling my eyes I hang up the call heading to the park that Toby told me to meet him at.

"Hey" Toby laughs holding out his arms to hug me

"Hey" I smile back hugging him.

Pulling back from the hug he leans in for a kiss,I kiss him back until we both pull away, slightly blushing.

"So what are we doing today?" I ask him

"Nothing,I thought we could just chill,"

"Okay,cool"

We walk around for a bit just talking.I know this is kind of harsh but Toby is all looks and no personality,he's the dryest person I've ever met.But only because I was polite I smile and nod and pretend I'm interested.

What I was really interested in was where the fuck I'm going to stay tonight.I felt bad chasing at Vinnies,I guess it's time I stopped running from home and I actually confront my father.The quicker he's out the better.

"Hey Toby,"

"Yeah" he answers stopping his boring talk

"I need your help"

"Sure but it's gonna come at a price" he smirks

"And that is?" I ask with a raised brow

"Maybe a kiss or two"

"Fuck off" I laugh grabbing his arm and taking him to my house.

I fill him in on everything that's happened recently and on my payback. Well not so much payback it's just a way of pissing my dad off.

"So you need me to purposely piss your dad off?" he asks in disbelief

"Please" I beg

"Okay,fuck it"

"Thanks Toby" I smile kissing his cheek

"I'll meet you as planned "

"Sup" I say walking into Ash house.It's no surprise that I'm the first of the girls here.

"Finally,where are the others" Ash asks

"Hi Esme,how was your date?How have you been recently?" I mock,"Nice to see you too Ash"

"How was that date?" Jordan asks sweetly

"Thankyou,a gentleman at last." I smile squishing my way into the sofa

"It was AWFUL.The guy had no personality he was talking about himself the whole time"

"So it went well" Ash laughs,"I take it you're going to see him again"

"Oh of course.I need him to get back at my dad.Plus he's hot maybe I can get laid in between I mean look at me.He's obviously interested so it's not too hard."

"So you're using him?" Jordan asks

"No"

"Dude you literally just said he was boring but you're holding onto him because he's hot"

"Not you guys acting as if Vinnie literally doesn't do the same thing with that bitch Amber" I hiss

The boys eyes go wide Ash signalling for me to stop.

"doing what?" I hear the feminine voice behind me ask

Turning around I see Amber and Vinnie hand in hand.Amber looking at me with nothing but hate in her eyes and Vinnie holding back a laugh.

"Shit" I hiss to myself
