Chapter 4:Nice Tiger

Olive POV:

When we woke up in the morning the tiger was gone. But there was one problem. We left the fish outside of the tent. The tiger ate them all. We now had nothing for another week. I was so mad. Sofia was mad, too. She was way more mad than me. She ran down the path and yelled as loud as she could, "darn tiger! Give us our fish, it's all we have."

Right then, the tiger stepped out of the forest. Sofia stumbled back and said, "nice tiger?" I was scared, too, when the tiger talked. It said in a velvety voice, "I'm Sarcasm the tiger."

Sofia jumped back again. She was so surprised. I was scared. I ran to the tent and zipped it tight. Sofia was hitting on the sides saying, "come out Olive, don't be rude." Then the tiger tried to wisper, "what kind of name is Olive?" She laughed so hard it sounded like she was going to barf. Now she might be a helpless tiger, but I had to get a laugh at picturing her barf. When she heard me laughing she growled. That made me stop, and for some reason like Sofia was in a trance, she walked over and unzipped the tent. There were swirls in her eyes so I screamed. Sarcasm came over and put her dusty, muddy, poopy paw over my mouth and said, "don't worry Olive. Haha! That name. She's only in the trance because she looked straight in my eyes when I talked. Now she only says and does what I tell her to do for a whole hour!"

She sounded very exited but I was scared. For almost my whole life that I've lived in the woods, I've never found a magical tiger named Sarcasm. Why was she teasing me because of my name? Does she even know what sarcasm is? 😂 Wow, I just laughed at my own joke.

Sofia POV:

I didn't know what was going on but I heard Sarcasm's voice in my head telling me what to do. I heard Olive talking to Sarcasm and heard her laugh for some odd reason. I could only see blurry things. Olive looked like a blue swirly dot and Sarcasm looked like a orange and black striped dot with legs. I don't know why Olive didn't have legs. It was very wierd. Very.

Anywho, I was just dizzy and overheard Sarcasm say that I'm in this thing called a trance because I looked right in her eyes when she first started talking to us.

An hour after being bossed around by that dumb tiger, Olive slapped me in the face because I started dancing. I guess she was mad at the tiger and she was mad at me for listening to the tiger. When it got dark, Olive was still mad and she went in the tent and had her back faced to me the whole night. She didn't even answer me when I talked to her. I went to sleep.
