Chapter.1 : A strange encounter

Fm's Pov:

Fm: "Ano ba naman tong librong toh! Nakakaiyak naman." -
Ako'y napaluha nang pagkatapos kong isara ang librong binabasa ko. Ako'y napaluha dahil sa pagkamatay ng male lead na si Kane-Tanaka. Sa dinami-dami pa kasi ng pwedeng mangyari, namatay pa talaga. Aba  teka, hindi pa nga pala ako nagpapakilala. Ako nga pala si Niijiko-san, i am 16 years old, a high school student rather. Reading books is my favorite hobby. Just now, i was reading a book and the book's Male lead perished. Sapukin ko kaya yung author non para malaman niya.

*Moments later:*

Fm's mom: "Niijiko-san! Bumaba ka na nga dito at kumain ka na ng almusal. Baka ma-late ka pa sa eskuwelahan mo!"

Fm: "Sige po, bababa na..." -  Sinabi ko ito ng may malungkot na tono. Bad mood kasi ako ngayon dahil doon sa tragic na nangyari. Hindi parin ako maka move-on. Hay nako, ewan ko nalang sa sasarili ko.

*Bumaba*

Fm's mom: "Hala! May sakit ka ba baby ni? Ba't parang matamlay ka?"

Fm: "Hindi ako matamlay ma, malungkot lang ako dahil dun sa librong niregalo mo."

Fm's mom: "Ay ganon ba. Edi sorry. Kumain ka na nga!"

Fm: "Ayoko ma... Wala akong appetite ngayon."

Fm's mom Pov:

Fm's mom: I had a feeling naman talaga na malulungkot si Niijiko-san sa librong binigay ko. Ang drama niya noh?? Pero... Her expression was sadder than what i had expected. I had no idea she'd take the story so seriously. Actually, nabasa ko na yung librong yun, in fact, it was my favorite book because of some other reason. And that reason is..... Secret..... You guys should find it out yourself. Can't wait Malapit na ang adventure ni Niijiko-san Ooopss!! I mean... Birthday pala.

*Umalis na si FM at naglakad na papunta ng eskuwelahan*

*Habang naglalakad si FM ay may nakita siyang matandang lalaki na nangangaylangan ng tulong.*

Fm's Pov:

Fm: Hala! Baka may mangyari sa matanda kung hindi ko siya tulungan. *Tumingin sa paligid-ligid*. Luh, parang wala namang gustong tumulong. No choice, i will help him. Pero.... Male-late ata ako sa school neto. *Sinampal ang sarili* Wag ko na yun problemahin. Wala namang mangyayari sakin HEHEHEHE. After all, helping people in need is a priority. Explain ko nalang ito sa guro ko, yun nga lang... Sana maniwala *sigh*

Fm: "Excuse me, do you need help? I can help you" - Sinabi ko ito nang masigla.

Old: "Oh my, thank you young lady. Can you please just assist me in crossing the street and carrying my groceries?" - sabi ng matanda na parang nagpapaki-usap

Fm: "Uhm sure, I don’t mind." 

*Moments later:*

Old: "Thank you, young lady. May blessings overflow you. I’m currently broke, so I don’t think I’ll be able to repay you…" *Chuckles*

Fm: "Oh, please don’t.. it’s my pleasure, I’m glad to help! Please don’t worry about repaying me, it is my duty to assist the needy, especially the elderly, such as yourself. I have to get going now or else I'll be late for classes! Sorry for the inconvenience" *Runs to school*

Old man's Pov:

Old: Oh my Oh my, it’s been quite a while since someone offered to help me. This young lady really is a good person. Yayy!! Magagamit ko na muli ang-

*At school:"

Fm's Pov:

Fm: *exhausted because of running* *Breathing heavily* Omgg, hindi ko ma mahabol yung hinihinga ko. End of the world na ba mga day???!!! Hay nako, buti nalang i made it. Pero.... Pakiramdam ko bad mood parin ako. *Biglang nalungkot ulit*

*Hours passed by*

*Fm’s classmates notices that fm is down*

Classmates: "Are you okay Niijiko-san? You’ve been down all day! Is something the matter?"

Fm: "No! It’s nothing to worry about. I’m just crying over about a book I read." - Sagot ko. May kasama pa akong fake smile para hindi na sila mag-worry.

Classmates: "Oh okay, you really take books seriously. But this time, you have such a lonely expression on your face. What a tragedy that my bestfriend became depressed as a result of this novel! I’m tempted to curse the author!"

*Fm chuckles*

*Later that day*
(Ps: Gabi na guys ahhh)

*Fm sleeps and haves a dream*
(Ps. Dream ito ahhh. Ibig-sabihin, yung mga susunod na mangyayari ay dream ni Niijiko-san)

*Sa paniginip ay nakita niya yung old man na tinulungan niya*

Fm: "haven’t we met?" - Sabi ko sa matandang tinulungan ko kaninag umaga.

Old man: "Oh yeah! you were the yound lady that helped me. May I ask your name?"

Fm: "Ofcourse, my name’s Niijiko-san. Niijiko means “rainbow” because my mom really loves raibows. Share ko lang po hehe. Peace." Bakit kaya niya tinatanong???

Old man: "Oh, what a lovely name. From the looks of it, your mom definitely must be a good person like you."

*fm chuckles*

Old man: I wasn’t able to repay you a while ago. But this is the best I can offer. May I ask what is something that you wish the most?

Fm: "Uhm, may I ask why you ask of me? Bakit kaya niya tinatanong???" So.. weird...

Old man: Listen young lady, I was blessed from the very beginning and was given a power to grant wishes! *A shine surrounds him*

*Fm chuckles and finds it funny*

Old man: I knew you would react that way. But, it’s okay I’m used to it.

Fm: I don’t necesarilly believe that. I’m sorry, but I can still answer your question. I wish for the resurrection of my favorite fictional character named Kane-tanaka. I know it’s impossible, but it was the first thing that came to my mind hehe..

Old man: Okay then, your wish is my command! But, there’s just one twist. You must save him for yourself.

Fm: Pardon? *Feels very sleepy* This is weird but I feel very very sleep- *Blacks out*

*As fm blacks out the old man said: You must go and save Kane-tanak—*

*Then blacks entirely out*

Moments later:

*Fm wakes up* *Fm slowly opens her eyes, at first, her sight was blurry, then slowly becomes clear*

Fm: *Thinks* Oh.. Why am I lying on the floor?

*Then her sight suddenly clears*

Fm: Uhmm where am i…???!!

*message from present me* This was a draft from 2021 which means it's the most cringe story I've ever made but still sayang so I'll post it anyway
