Tobio Kageyama stood outside the large conference room in anticipation. His navy blue uniform top felt tight on his chest all of a sudden. His radio sitting promptly on his right shoulder felt crooked, and he fiddled with it until it seemed acceptable to him. Why was he called here?

"Hey, Kageyama! Are you okay?" Shoyo Hinata asked, stopping in his tracks as before he stepped foot into the conference room. Kageyama stiffened, not knowing where the smaller orange-haired man came from. He huffed in annoyance before meeting Hinata's eyes, always filled with light.

"I'm fine, Hinata." He replied simply. He turned back towards the door, expecting his counterpart to walk through them. However, the doors didn't move.

"You don't seem fine. You seem nervous. What's wrong?" He asked again, his head cocked to the side as he looked deeply into Kageyama's sapphire blue eyes.

"Nervous? Why would you be nervous on a wonderful day like today?" Someone said from behind the pair, making them jump. Kageyama turned and widened his eyes. Hinata yelped before timidly saluting.

"Commissioner Kageyama, sir! It's an honor to see you!" He said loudly, his cheeks tinted red with embarrassment. Kazuyo Kageyama chuckled deeply.

"At ease. Officer Hinata, I will see you inside in just a moment. Tobio, a word?" He said softly, meeting Kageyama's gaze. Hinata nodded and swiftly entered the doors. Kazuyo moved three paces to his left, Tobio following behind him. Kazuyo looked at Tobio knowingly, causing Tobio to groan.

"I'm fine, Ojīchan. Hinata is just overreacting." He said lowly, curtly avoiding his grandfather's eyes.

"Is it wrong of me to want to check in on my only grandson?" He questioned innocently. Tobio chuckled as he checked the clock behind him, the time getting closer to 1:30. "Shall we go inside?" Kazuyo asked, nudging Tobio slightly when he didn't move. Tobio stepped towards the door, opening it quietly. Hinata sat in between his fellow officers. To his left, Tadashi Yamaguchi. To his right, Yu Nishinoya.

As Commissioner Kageyama made his way to the front, the officers quickly rose to their feet, their arms raised in a salute. He placed his arm up, signaling for them to be seated.

"Hello to Tokyo's finest! I understand it's been a while since you've seen my face, and it may be concerning as to why I've gathered you all here." He began, signaling towards an officer standing at the opposite end of the room. The officer opened a door that led to another room. From that moment, six men in their formal uniforms stepped into the room, lining up behind the Commissioner.

"You've been summoned here by these men behind me. These are the captains of our highly recognized units. They submitted their requests to have you and why, and here you are for official reassignment! Call it the 45th Precinct Draft Day." He explained, gazing at the array of facial expressions before him. Shock, excitement, some of them were even blank. Tobio had one of shock, and then relief.

"Without further ado, I'll hand the stage over to my fabulous captains. They'll debrief you on their units and who they personally chose. Farewell, and keep Tokyo safe!" He concluded, turning to the men behind him with a brief nod, before walking to the door followed by an officer. One of the men cleared his throat before he stepped to the podium.

"Guess I'll start. I'm in charge of the Organized Crime Unit. We deal with taking down high crime syndicates here in the city," the man began, gazing intently at his subordinates before he locked eyes with one of his picks. He smirked at him knowingly. "I'm Captain Tetsuro Kuroo. Officers Kageyama and Yamaguchi, you're my newest recruits. Hope you're ready for this."
