Louis_da_cutiepie again, happy birthday❤ x

Louis' birthday doesn't fall on Christmas eve in this.

"This is probably one of the nicest things you've done for Louis." Eleanor smiled, the two walking to the pet store down town. "The perfect Christmas gift, eh?"

"He's my husband and sometimes, you've got to make sacrifices." Harry shrugged, still pretty bummed out about not being able to get a cat. They only had room for one pet, and the topic was up for discussion, more like an argument, every day.

Still, he'd do anything to see Louis' face light up like the sun, and if it means sacrificing his childhood dream of having a cat named Dusty, so be it.

"Louis' one lucky guy." She shook his head fondly as he headed in to the pet store.

"Hello, Welcome to Marianne's pet shop! My name's Pam, what can I help you with today?" A cheery old lady welcomed them, birds distinctly chirping from behind the door. "Cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, turtles, fishes, rabbits, all different kinds of pets just waiting to met you!"

"Oh, we'd just like a dog." Harry said, El nodding along. Pam smiled quickly ushering them in.

"We've all kinds of dogs here! Looking for any specific breed?" Pam said, humming at the shake of his head. "Right then, take a look around for yourself, I'm sure you'll find the perfect one."

They walked around the place hesitantly, surrounded with big and little dogs in sufficiently large enough cages. Pam was happily chatting about each dog's history while they barked jumping about whenever she got near any of them clearly very attached to her.

"How bout him? Little golden retriever, 2 years. Had four other siblings all now have their own homes, all by himself lil' un'. "

"He's lovely." El gleamed turning for Harry's opinion. But he was already off, walking about anxiously biting his nails as he tried to find the perfect one. "But I think we should just let him look around."

"Eh dunno 'bout that. Maybe we'll have to check someplace else.." Harry mumbled. "Do you sell dog products?"

"Sure dearie. Right this way." Pam replied leading him to the displays. Eleanor stopped him, suddenly a quite excited glint in her eyes.

"Look!" El squealed practically dragging him past all the small dog bowl stacks and pushing him in front of a cage on the floor. He gasped involuntarily at the small black dog laying inside, all fur and nothing else, curled up on himself.

Pam opened the door without another word, smiling when the dog pricked up his ears and ran out, minuscule brown dots for eyes buried under all the fur. He yapped at them excitedly bounding around and around them happily.

"Harry, if you don't pick him, I will! He's so cute and adorable!" El said eagerly, immediately warming up to the huge fluffball. Harry wholeheartedly agreed with the statement, already cooeing over the adorable yapping.

"He's new, hasn't been a day in. Sorry but that's all I know as far as he's concerned." Pam chuckled clapping her hands together at the excited nod.

"We'll take him." Harry grinned moving forward to the counter with the lady while El picked the tiny thing in his arms, still yapping enthusiastically.
