As I continue studying, I couldn't really think straight because of Mcyt. They asked me to prom! I've never even got asked out to these type of stuff. Why am I freaking out though? They're just going with me as a friend. It's not like there will be any chemistry, right?
"Alright, our project is finally finished! We can just spend the rest of the week waiting for the presentation date" I say to Mcyt.
"That's great!" Mcyt says.
"Oh yeah I forgot to hand you the hoodie you lent to me the other day" I say giving the dream hoodie to them.
"You can keep it" Mcyt says giving the hoodie back.
"Oh, thank you" I say holding the hoodie.
"You know you don't have to convince yourself I'm the enemy right?" Mcyt says.
"But you've done so many wrong things" I say replying.
"You've done wrong things too but you don't see me pointing them out" They say back.
"You don't point that out because you're a simp" I say back.
A wave of silence spread across the room.
"What do you mean?" Mcyt says with a stutter escaping their mouth.
"I've been hearing rumors, but they're just rumors I don't believe them" I reply.
"Dunkin probably told you that or something" They say.
"No actually it was Kpop" I reply
"Fuck" Mcyt says laughing, but not in a happy way, more of a nervous way.
"If I'm correct anything that kpop says is true" I say to them.
"Nope, not this time" They say barely making eye contact with me.
"Wait if I connect the dots then-"
"I think it is time to go it is getting really late don't you think?" Mcyt cuts me off whilst pointing at the door.
"No I need to know if Kpop's rumor was true" I reply out of curiosity.
"If I told you, it would ruin everything. It's best if you didn't know" They reply.
"Okay I think it's obvious why you can't tell me, Maybe I'll tell you my response at prom?" I tell them.
"Sure" They reply.
"See you on Monday!" I say to them.
Mcyt just replies to me with a wave.
I head out of their bedroom heading downstairs and out of their house. I see my mom outside beside her car, I head inside and sleep on the way home.
the next day
I wake up to get a text from Mcyt. They have never texted me before. Wait how did they even get my number?!

just hope you dont see me differently. Alright that's all

• Sent at 3:09 a.m.
Well that escalated quickly. It's the start of the day and I already feel light headed. Maybe it was best if I didn't look at my phone at the beginning of the day. I head to the my local cafe to meet up with Kpop and Anime.
I arrive at the cafe to see the two sitting at our favorite spot.
"Kpop I swear to god" I say jokingly pissed at them.
"You got that text from Mcyt huh?" Kpop says smirking.
"Enemies to lovers, classic" Anime says whilst laughing.
"What do I tell them? I don't wanna hurt them or anything" I say worried.
"Well you could friendzone them, or you're probably don't know that you love them" Anime says.
"What do you mean by that?" I ask
"You love Mcyt but can't see it yet" Anime adds.
"Oh I see" I reply.
"So do I just hang out with them for a while and see where that ends up?" I ask the two.
"Sure" They say in unison.
"Alright, let's see how this goes" I tell them.
