What events in your first year led you to the situations you find yourself in now.
flashback pt 2.After reading week, things began to feel slightly more comfortable around the appartement. Eren was actually talking to you, for once, you almost felt like the two of you were becoming friends again.
Despite that, you could still feel a small rift in your relationship. Your interests and hobbies didn't exactly collide anymore, the two of you had grown up and changed. You were both still relatively strangers to each other. You could tell Eren was trying to put an effort into building up a friendship with you again. It would take time, but soon enough, you felt that maybe one day you'd be able to talk to him like you once did.
There were still some minor things he did that irked you. He seemed to be just a little too touchy at times or even too eager to be around you. It was a strange shift in demeanor, it was almost as if he perked up each time you interacted with him. This was the most you had ever interacted with him in ages, and you almost felt exhausted by how much energy you needed just to keep up with him in conversation some days.
You'd never tell him that though, but secretly, sometimes you'd wish that after a long day of classes, you wouldn't have to deal with him the moment you stepped through the door.
And yet, your wishes never seemed to work out in your favour.
As you stepped through the door, you were not only met with Eren's cheeky grin, but also the back of the head of a small blond male.
"Hey, Y/N," Eren greeted you, "uh, this is my friend Armin, I don't think the two of you have met before."
The blond turned his head over to look at you and smiled, while you gave him back a half hearted wave.
"No, I don't think we've met," you said while sliding off your bookbag and placing it on the floor. "Nice to meet you."
Armin kept a sweet smile on his face, "nice to meet you too," he ruffled the back of his hair nervously and laughed, "Eren's told me a lot about you, so I feel like I already know you."
You watched as Eren lightly tapped his friend with his foot. Armin looked back at him with a wide-eyed expression as Eren stared daggers back at him.
You hung your jacket up, "hopefully, nice things."
Armin looked back at you and waved his arms frantically, "all good things, don't worry."
You chuckled at his sudden panic.
"Anyways, we just ordered a pizza, did you want any?" Eren asked you, "we're working on a presentation right now, but you're free to hang around and eat with us. If you want."
You thought about it for a moment before nodding, "yeah," you ran your hand through your hair, "pizza sounds good. Let me know when it's here, I just need to sort some things out in my room." You picked your book bag back up and quickly ran off to your room.
Once inside you plopped yourself down on your bed and sighed, you weren't exactly in the mood for socializing this evening but how could you pass up on pizza. After laying down for a while, you quickly got back up and changed into more comfortable clothes.
By the time you exited your room, the pizza had already arrived.
"How much do I owe you?" You asked, as you sat down on the floor in front of the coffee table.
"Don't worry about it," Eren waved his free hand before taking a bite of a slice that he was holding, "my treat."
"Oh, thank you," you said as you picked up your own slice.
