“Just tell her!”
“I’m not going to tell her!” Your three best friends, Percy, Jason and Leo, had been arguing for ten whole minutes, due to a certain dare that had come up in the middle of the peaceful game. Leo had been dared to tell his crush that he likes her, and he had denied the dare almost instantly. Since then, they had been trying to get him to do it, threatening him with tidal waves and lightning bolts, and you were sure that if Nico wasn’t on a date with Will, there would be a couple hundred undead soldiers here as well. You didn’t understand what the big deal was; Leo’s crush couldn’t have been his crush for too long, since you had never heard about her.
Finally, after a lot of arguing, the son of Poseidon and the son of Zeus gave in, sighing and plopping onto the sofas. “Let’s just get on with the game.” You heard Leo mumble, and realised that it was your turn to be asked by Percy. “Dare.” You spoke before he had even opened his mouth. Percy just shrugged and was probably about to dare you to do something really stupid, when a smirk crept onto his face. “Mariam, I dare you to kiss your crush.” Crap. You couldn’t kiss Leo now that you had found out that he liked another girl, that would be dumber than anything you had ever done. Well, except a couple of other things. You ran your hand through your dark hair and sighed. “My crush isn’t here.” Percy and Jason’s eyes momentarily flickered to Leo, who was looking at the floor, fiddling with a small piece of metal. It was a few moments before Percy finally spoke up. “Well, you can't just not do the dare, so I dare you to kiss the best looking guy in the room.” If you kissed Leo now, he would think he’s the best looking person in the room, not your crush. It was worth a try. You got up from the comfortable position on the small couch of the Apollo cabin and sauntered over to Leo, taking a seat beside him before kissing him softly. You were more than surprised when he kissed back, immediately wrapping his strong arms around your waist. He deepened the kiss, and you finally heard the others groaning. “We get it, you like each other, no need to make out in front of us.” You burst out laughing, and so did he, before continuing on with the game.
