Watching Kara leave the terminal was hard, it was so hard watching my best friend leave me for nine months even though I know I was the one that was really leaving her and everyone else in Melbourne since I live in Sydney now. I wouldn't see her for another nine months, so much could happen in nine months, our lives could completely change within these nine months, we might fall in love, we might slowly distance, but we promise each other we would remain best friends. We were each other's soulmates on a friendship scale, she means the world to me just like I mean the world to her. Slumping down on a chair next to a wall I put my head between my long slender legs letting my tears stream down my face. Laughing I realised I was being a big pussy, I could tell Kara would also be crying and thinking similar thoughts about herself right now. After sitting on the chair for a while I take a deep breath and decide to take another trip to the shopping centre since it was only noon and I had work at 11pm. Standing up I run my hands through my lilac hair looking at it and deciding maybe I should dye it again as the lilac is slowly starting to fade, it looks cool and sorta pastel but I'm getting bored of it. Walking out of the airport I see out of my peripheral vision what looked like to be the same guy from the pet store earlier today with the brown hair and blonde highlights, looking to my lrft where I thought I saw him I realise he wasn't there, chuckling to myself I realise all that crying fogged up my head and now I'm day time sober thinking I'm seeing people, shaking my head I walk across to the parking lot and hop into my charger. Drumming my fingers across my steering wheel to American Idiot I decide to maybe take a walk around town and all the little corners of it before going to the shops. Parking my car near a little den I begin my adventure. Sydney is so beautiful, it's so different to Melbourne, especially the area live in, everyone seems different, I just can't pinpoint why or how. After walking around for a couple of hours and taking photos my phone is now on 7% I decide to head back to my car hoping I get there before my phone dies. Judging by google maps I was about a half an hour walk back to my car, analysing the roads I had to take in my head, I put my phone in my pocket so I'm not constantly draining the battery by using it the whole time. I look around me, I wish my phone wasn't dying, the GPS is taking me a different route back to my car than the one that I took on my adventures, this area was full of alley ways, the type that would usually scare people away but seem so peaceful and calming to me. I love the little things in life that usually get overlooked like alleyways and highways. Something about them both just seem so inviting to me. Continuing my walk on the worn out pavement I look around and realise how deserted this area actually seemed, like no one would be around. Enjoying the peaceful silence I hear yelling coming from an alleyway on my left, which if I remember correctly was the one I had to go down to get to my car. Great. I take a peak down the alley way noticing four men surrounding another one pinning him against the wall yelling and punching him. I quickly take my phone out to see if there's another route I can take, and just to my luck, my phone died. Thanks Apple I mutter to myself shaking my head. Peaking back down the alleyway trying to see what was happening since it started to get quiet, when I saw the man surrounded get shot in the head. Gasping I put my hand over my mouth closing my eyes for a few seconds calming myself down. It's okay, they don't know you're here, you're not the one shot, it's going to be okay, it doesn't matter if they see you, you'll be fine. "Dude did you hear that?" One of them ask the group? I stay completely still making myself invisible so they couldn't see me but I could still see their silhouettes. For a minute the alleyway is silent. "There's nothing Calum, it was probably the echo you heard or a rat, no one come's to these alleyways and plus we'd kill them." The voice said, that voice, it sounded oddly familiar. The four begin to converse about a girl one of them likes that spoke to her at the shopping centre. I decide I should hide in a different alleyway until they leave so they don't see me and kill me. As I'm about to leave they start to walk into the alleyway and I realise it's the same boys from the SS Camaro, and the main one that seemed like the leader was the one that called me "his". Taking a deep I turn around and silently slip into another alleyway as I see the leader tuck the gun in his pants. Stepping backwards I accidentally knocked over a little old crate next to me, now that they definitely heard. "Luke you can't tell me that was just a rat now" Calum said to the leader. I quickly and quietly ran down another alleyway connected to the one I was in which lead to another two I heard heavy footsteps running to the alleyway I was in and a gun loading. Without thinking I ran down the one on my left which lead to an opening that was covered in bushes. Running through them I sighed in relief when I noticed my car across the road.
