Y/n's POV

I then saw both me and Kou falling from the sky as I braced myself from impact and closed my eyes.

I then noticed that the impact wasn't that big as Kou wrapped his arms around me and we both rolled over the grass.

"Kou! Are you ok!?" I frantically panicked as I saw him cringe in pain.

"Y-ye I'm fine." Kou said as he tried to put up a smile.

I looked at him dumbfounded as I don't know why he even tried hiding the fact that he was in pain when I could already clearly see it.

"Let me see you're leg.." I said as I sighed and moved closer to him.

I closely examined his leg and soon ripped a strip of fabric from my kimono and wrapped it around his leg with a branch that was laying randomly on the ground.

"There..that should do it." I said smiling while looking quite proud of the way I wrapped it as I looked back and noticed him blushing a bright tint of red that made me blush aswell.

"A-ah sorry that was the only piece of cloth I could use to wrap as a bandage.."

"N-no it's more than enough, I appreciate it."

'Oh god why is it so awkward🗿' I thought inside my head until Kou decided to speak up.

"Y/n... are you ok? Were you hurt before we arrived?" Kou asked me with obvious worry painted on his face.

"Well aside from me constantly being unable to suddenly control this new annoying ass power, I'm fine Kou." I gave him a reassuring smile and chuckled a bit.

"That's a relief.." he sighed as he gave me a smile.

"Now let's see..how can we get you put of here." Kou said as he was looking around while looking for what I assumed was my yorishiro.

"Are you looking for my yorishiro?" I asked.

"Mhm, apparently that's the only way we can get you of here. Do you know where it is?" Kou asked as he continued to search for my yorishiro.

"I don't.." i replied while shaking my head.

Kou suddenly placed a hand over my head and gently patted it while giving me a smile.

"Don't worry. We'll find it together."

I blushed at the gesture and looked away feeling that I would explode if I looked at him for any longer.

"Hmm let's see..what were you feeling before you got sucked into the boundary..?"

"I felt...pathetic.. and I wanted to hide away from everyone. I just wanted to..runaway. Scared that if I were near any of those I care about any longer, I might end up bringing despair to them once again..." I explained while looking down on my lap and recalling the things Teru told me.

"Y/n...none of what happened before to your family was your fault.."

Kou then explained to me the story of how my parents met up to the supernaturals that were attacking them.

I stared at him in shock as I layed my back against a tree.

"I'm..half a superntural..?" I asked bewildered as Kou just nodded in response and sat beside me laying his back at the tree aswell.

"Kou..that's all the more reason for me to stay away from you all.." I looked down sadly as Kou looked at me.

"No it isn't and I wont allow you to leave us." Kou said seriously while looking at me dead stright in the eye.

"Kou if I'm a supernatural then there's no doubt that I pose as a threat towards you and the others!"

"Y/n you've been living with us for all these years now! And not once did you ever hurt us in any way."

"Who knows what might happened..just like right now..this was completely unexpected and I ended up putting all of you in danger.." I exclaimed as tears were pouring from my eyes.

"I can't bare to lose those I hold dear to me ever again.." I said powerlessly between sobs as I looked at him.

Kou then embraced me in a hug as he patted my back while I hugged back.

"You won't y/n..I promise.."

I kept crying as I was holding him tighter.

"Why're you even going through such lengths for someone who isn't even blood related.." i chuckled bitterly as I wiped away the tears that were falling from my eyes."
