"Eh-"

'Did I hear that right!? He just said he loves me right!? No wait calm down. Kou is a genuinely caring person he might just mean it as a friend.' You thought as you mentally sweat dropped.

"I-" "And no, not as a friend but as s-something more..." Kou stuttered out.

'...OH GOD IM GONNA FAINT WHAT DO I SAY'

"I-I never knew y-you felt that way." You said quite nervously. Although you were nervous there was no denying that you were beaming with happiness aswell.

Never in a million years would you have expected that the man you adored, the man who you also deemed that thought of you as 'just a sister to him', actually felt the same way..

You were so overbeaming with happiness that you didn't realize that you weren't saying anything to him in response when he literally just confessed.

Kou kept hugging you as he was shaking quite a bit as something was telling you that he kept hugging cause he didn't want you to see his face.

You chuckled a bit and pulled away from the hug only to be met with Kou's blushing expression with tears threatening to fall from his eyes due to the fact that he thinks you don't feel the same way and he ruined your friendship.

You then placed both your hands as you cupped his cheeks while wiping the tears that were slowly streaming down his face.

"I love you too Kou." You said as you gave him a smile while looking directly at him.

All the sadness in his adorable face automatically disappeared and was replaced with the look of him beaming in happiness and relief.

"Y-you do!?" He said, no screamed, not believing his ears.

"Mhm, I do." You said as you chuckled gently from his expression. He looked like a kid on christams eve, opening his present only to see that he got everything he ever wanted in life.

"I always have, and I always will." You added as you softly placed a quick peck on his cheek.

You turned to Kou who's face was beet red and you soon started to realize the set back of what you just did.

"I-I'm sorry- I- I just did it out of the spur of the m-moment." You nervously spat out while blushing and trying to justify your actions.

Kou stared at you for a bit as you frantically tried to explain yourself while spouting all kinds of different things.

He chuckled and soon then cupped you cheeks gently and placed a kiss on your forehead lovingly while hugging you immediately to avoid you seeing his blushing face over the embarrassment he just did.

"I-I'm glad you feel the same way y/n. It took me awhile to realize it but these past few weeks, I just knew. I knew that I wanted to be the one that made you smile...and to protect that smile at all costs! That's why..I'm never gonna let anything hurt you again."

At this moment, all your trust was with Kou. You let down your boundaries and openly accepted everything. You were no longer scared about losing the one you love cause you know you both will fight through it. You finally found the closure you've always needed all these years.

You hugged him tighter as tears were threatening to fall from your eyes once again. "Thank you.." you whispered as you hugged him tighter.

It was then that both you and Kou were emitting some strange light around yourselves. It was the same light that surrounded you before you got sucked into this boundary.

And before you knew it. You were all back to the near shore. With you and Kou still holding on to each other and Hanako and Teru confusedly just staring at you two from the side.

As you caught their glimpse, both of you immediately broke away from the hug and fixed you composure.

Teru stared at you two with many questions running through his mind.

"Did you guys find the yorishiro?" Kou asked the two.

"Wait I thought you two were the one who found it.." Teru replied confused.

You thought about it for a bit.

"I think my yorishiro...was the seal I had that disabled me from loving someone so wholeheartedly in fear that I could lose them again due to what happned before.." [A/N: YES ITS A BIT CLICHE BUT I COULDN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE FOR A YORISHIRO SO BARE WITH ME T^T]

"But with what Kou said...I felt relieved..like I finally deserved to love somebody again..and I also felt reassured. So I think that's why the seal broke." You said as you shifted your glance to all of them who was staring at you in fascination.

Hanako and Teru both had an idea of what happened when you two were alone and Hanako flashed you and Kou a smirk and Teru approached you.

"Y/n...I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I'm convinced that not all superaturals are bad. Considering you're half supernatural and Hanako went out of his way to help us.." he apilogized as you gave him a smile

"And I guess you two aren't so young anymore huh" he said with a knowing smirk refering to what happened in the boundary.

You looked away blushing with his comment. "Whatever. You owe me lunch." You bitterly replied as you were still blushing from his comment.

"My wallet's gonna cry again" he playfully sighed as you three decided to head home together.

Before you could fully exit the bathroom, you gave Hanako one small thank you and he replied with his signature smirk.

The three of you then head home with yours and Kou's hands intertwined.
