A/N: Hey guys! I'm SUPER nervous about releasing a story on here for the first time, but I just got some inspiration to start one— still not sure how I want it to end! This first chapter is mostly about the main character, Maylen Scott, starting in her journey as a Marvel character, Red Viper. Obviously the character is made up and not in the movies mentioned but I had to give her an in somewhere! Nothing too juicy happens in the beginning, but trust me— the story develops!

Also, I picture Maylen as an hourglass shaped, mid sized girl with long brown hair and brown eyes. I will be writing about the characters as I think they would act in real life as much as possible but also I have to include some fiction to make the story flashy. I'll also be addressing real issues that every person, even celebrities, go through.

Hope you stick with me!

Backstory of the character Red Viper:

The woman known as the Red Viper was once just an average little human known as Violet Sinclair. That is until the day her and Natasha Romanoff along with several others were enrolled into an elite program around the same time. They were highly trained operative sleeper agents enhanced by Soviet forces. In the program, they were not allowed to have friends amongst their piers given that it would give them a weekness, but Natasha and Violet had formed one in silence. Though while Natasha found her way to S.H.I.E.L.D., Violet went further into the program advancing her rank. With this, she became sidekick to the Winter Soldier, assisting him with missions and keeping a watch on him. She was essentially assigned to protect him at all costs. The Winter Soldier was a cold man with little to no emotions, but while fighting alongside him, Violet began to catch feelings for him. Their relationship was not a true one, but more of an unspoken one. While the Winter Soldier was sent on private missions without her, he began fighting his controllers and gaining free will. Violet was sent to reclaim him, but upon arrival he showed her a further glimpse into his humanity coming further into the light. She then showed him nothing but support. When Zemo tried to frame the Winter Soldier for committing a crime, Violet had to reach out to an old friend in which she met in her training to help prove he wasn't to blame. She also had to help keep her beloved Winter Soldier from ripping through lives he didn't want to take.

On the day of all days that Maylen Scott had been looking forward to her whole life, she woke up before the sun. Shooting out of her bed and alarming her beast of a dog, Roscoe, from his deep sleep in the bed next to her. After apologizing to him and stroking his ear, she immediately began getting ready to go to the set of Captain America: Civil War. She had recently gotten casted as a character from Natasha's past, as well as the Winter Soldiers, making her a super, but one with troubles. She was so excited to be meeting the other cast members that she hadn't already and seeing the directors and staff again.

That morning, when the sun finally began to rise, it lit the sky in such a way that left Maylen fully breathless. She was so captivated by its subtle blue color with small flecks of yellow she lost all her anxiety for a single moment. She was directed to not go overboard with makeup or hair products seeing as she had people that would take care of that for her on set. She then placed on her loose styled jeans, white crop top, and long tan overcoat, looking in the mirror, admiring the confidence she held in that moment. She struggled with body image issues often, so when she felt even an ounce of confidence, she had to bask in the moment. Though she was pulled away from the mirror when Roscoe whined by the door, alerting her to his need of a potty outing.

Stepping out into her side-yard outside of her two story apartment in downtown Atlanta, the sun felt warm to her makeup-less face. She knew today would be one of the best days of her life. Letting Roscoe back in, she kissed the black fur on the side of his snout and told him goodbye for the day. Taking a few steps to the edge of the sidewalk, she opened her car door and began her drive to set.
