Pieces of a Girl

Chapter Five

A/N: Hey guys! So, I wanted to mention that the character is in way more scenes in the movie than I mention. Also, I realize that it takes way, way more takes than one for the directors to make a scene, and they have stunt doubles, it's simply fiction. The scenes I mention are just to bring the characters closer together!

I have decided to start lengthening the chapters some now!

Months had gone by and filming was almost half way over. Maylen grew closer to the actors and actresses as a whole, but especially her girls Scarlett and Elizabeth and her guys Chris, Anthony, and RDJ. They were all her best friends. Hanging out on and off set, they were like a family. Her and Sebastian on the other hand were the closest. They rarely spent a waking second without the other, but if they had to, they texted. Many thought they were in a relationship considering the way they flirted, but they weren't. Much like people thought of her and Chris as well.

They discussed deep topics like childhood trauma and views which also led to lighter topics like their most embarrassing moments and fun memories. Their bond was like no other. Her and Sebastian discussed everything, leaving no stone of information unturned, or at least they thought.

Today started off much like any other with Maylen waking up, getting dressed, letting Roscoe out, saying bye to Roscoe, and heading to set.

On her way there, she felt something about today. It felt different. Brighter even. Today was going to be a good day.

When she arrived, she was rushed to makeup where she greeted Tyra.

"Someone left you a little surprise with me, but I'm not allowed to say who.", she said handing her a bag.

"I wonder who could have possibly guessed I didn't eat breakfast this morning.", she said as she pulled two chocolate chip muffins from the bag.

"I'm so glad you got here when you did. There were about to be zero muffins in there the way they smelled!"

They laughed and dug in to their short and sweet breakfasts.

"These are so good. Where are they from?"

"They came from a little bakery, honestly in the middle of nowhere, that Sebastian and I found when we had the day off. There's a whole little world of nature back behind it and we practically spent all day just enjoying the sun... and the treats obviously."

"Sounds nice.", Tyra said raising one eyebrow. "Really nice."

Costume and hair were both done quickly and then just as quickly she was moved on to set. Today, she wasn't in her typical Red Viper suit, but in a more discreet, street style outfit.

"Stan, Scott, and Evans to their marks.", the directors called.

The scene was going to be shot in Bucky/Winter Soldier's apartment after he saw his face on the news paper saying he was in on the bombing.

"ACTION".

Captain America was already in the apartment looking around when Bucky appeared behind him. They were talking to each other while the Falcon was giving Captain America a play by play of the guards coming to take down the Winter Soldier.

Just as the guards were getting closer, Violet walks in mouthing off at Bucky for leaving her on the street, "I called my friend I was telling you about, but you know, you didn't have to just leave me back there withou—", she noticed their guest. "What the hell is he—"

"Breach, breach, breach", Falcon said through the earpiece.

Exploding pieces were thrown through the window. Captain America knocked one back out, while Bucky kicked the other one in his direction, absorbing the blow with his shield. Guards came through the windows and the three of them went to the defense.
