Why would Angel do such a thing? I mean suicide? Really?

____________________________________I was sitting in the waiting area, patiently waiting to see Dr. Malcom for the results of Angel's health. My leg bounced as my eyes followed some of the people that walked by.
Khalil hadn't made it yet but he said that he was a couple of minutes away.
"Here, drink some water." Layla handed me a styrofoam cup of water and I thanked her, taking a sip.
"Stop worrying girl. Angel is fine." Layla grabbed my hand, kissing it.
Hearing a throat clear, I looked up and met eyes with Dr. Malcom who signaled me and Layla over. Standing to my feet in a quickness, I made my way to him.
Before he could speak, I was already asking questions. "How is she? Is she okay? When can I see her?"
Dr. Malcom chuckled, touching my shoulder. "Woah there darling. She's fine. But I do want to talk to you about her health...Angel is suffering from a bipolar disorder which leads her into a deep depression."
I looked at Layla crazily. Depression? Bipolar disorder? Hold the hell up.
"W-What? How when all she does is smile?"
"Maybe she doesn't want to worry you...Are you her mother?"
"No. I'm her older sister." He nodded, looking over his clipboard.
"Well I think that you should put her in meeting with an therapist. It will help her a lot."
He said a few more things until I was fed up and ready to see her. He lead me and Layla to her room and we both walked in.
Pulling up a chair, I could see that she was sleeping peacefully. Grabbing her hand, my thumb caressed it.
Her eyes flickered open and I smiled. "How ya' feelin'?"
"I-I'm alright. I'm sorry if I caused a scare." She said but I shook my head swiftly. I didn't want to yell or get mad at her but I did want to know one thing.
"Why Angel?"
She sighed, looking away. She was getting ready to say something until she was stopped by the door opening. Izzy and Khalil walked in I cracked a small smile.
