I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I opened the fridge door, looking inside.
Seeing nothing interesting at the moment, I closed the door back but jumped in fright. I held my chest as it heaved. I playfully hit Khalil's shoulder as he laughed.
"I thought you were sleep?" I asked.
"I was mamas. Don't think I didn't feel you playing with daddy under the covers."
I playfully rolled my eyes with a smirk. It's been two months since the Ryan situation and I can say that Khalil is more bright now that we don't have to worry about him anymore. He smiles more, he's more NICER and now very fond of Angel.
Khalil wrapped his arms around my stomach and put his head in the crook of my neck.
"Let me take you out tonight."
I had froze in complete shock of his words. Khalil wants to take me out?
"Khalil Mian wants to take Jade on a date. Hm? I'll have to think about it."
He smacked his lips, "What's there to think about? You my lady so I can take you out."
I laughed and faced him, "You right. Where we goi-," He gave me a stern stare. "Nevermind. We can play show instead of tell."
"Yeah we can." He kissed my lips causing me to smile. "You talked to Angel yet?"
"No. I'm scared and I don't know why..."
"I know why your scared." He said.
"And why is that Sherlock?" I questioned.
"Because you promised to protect her and your afraid that something would happen to her if she goes out into the open and your not there to look after her."
I ran my hands down my face. "Get out of my mind Khalil."
He laughed, "I'm not babygirl. But just know that she's gonna be fine. Now go and talk to her." He pushed me away.
