ODD CHAPTER 5: Clumsy

After what happened yesterday, you decided to just stay at home. Yeeun noticed you were acting weird but when she asked you if you were ok, you just nodded your head and smiled.

But in fact everything wasn't ok you just didn't want to admit it and look weak in front of this person you barely even know and somehow got stuck in a different universe with. Nonetheless you were grateful that you're stuck with someone nice.

You woke up a little earlier than usual, you only got a few hours of sleep but you insisted you were fine.

You decided to make breakfast, lucky for you. Yeeun went grocery shopping while you were out. The kid is smart, you have to admit. You made some bacon and eggs while your mind wandered elsewhere.

You were cracking eggs open when Yeeun woke up, she greeted you good morning, made a cup of coffee and went somewhere.

'Maybe the problem is that I try to please people all the time, or maybe the fact that I can't let go?' You were too caught up in your thoughts that you didn't notice your hand was dangerously close to the pan.

Next thing you know you accidentally touched the pan and well, burned yourself. You hissed out in pain and retracted your hand but you accidentally knocked over the pan as well.

The pan hit the ground with a loud ringing following it, Yeeun rushed over to the kitchen and found you attempting to clean up the mess you made while blowing on your hand.

"What happened?" Yeeun set her mug down on the counter and took a look at your hand, "I was too busy thinking about something and I touched the pan, and then this happened."

Yeeun tried to not laugh while she was taking care of your injury, "Here put your hand in cool water." She dragged you to the couch and gave you a bowl of cool water. You just compiled not wanting to trouble your room mate even more.

A few minutes went by and no one dared to speak, Yeeun was too busy cleaning up as you were just watching her do so, slightly feeling guilty about making the younger one do all the work.

"So, how hot was the pan that you got a 2nd degree burn." Yeeun spoke up, while remaking breakfast. You decided to troll her so without hesitation, "Not as hot as you." You deadpanned.

There was an awkward silence that followed after you replied, "I know I'm pretty but no need to point it out like that it makes me flustered." Yeeun laughed, "You think you're funny, jeez." She couldn't stop laughing.

You just chuckled at her response, "So, you want to do anything today other than burn your hand?" The younger asked.

"Not really, you?" You just ignored her remark and answered normally. "Well I'd like to know more about you, but I'm confident in one fact."

You shot her a confused look and tilted your head a little bit, Yeeun turned to look at you, "You're clumsy, like.. Really clumsy." She deadpanned, looking back at the food. "But anyways, breakfast is ready. Get over here."

You both ate breakfast in silence with Yeeun glancing at your hand occasionally. You finished first and went to put your plate in the sink. "You want to watch a movie?" Yeeun spoke up, getting up and holding her plate.

"Yeah sure, you pick though." You said as you made your way to the couch, "Do you like romance with a hint of sadness?" Yeeun asked you while following you from behind. "Story of my life, we can watch it if you want."

The younger squealed in excitement, she snatched the remote from you and played 'She's Dating the Gangster'

You were an hour into the movie when you started to feel sleepy, 'I'll just rest for a while.' You thought as you drifted off to sleep.

"Hm, cute.."
