Valeria's Fake Wedding Plan [COMPLETED]

Valeria's POV

"Thank you.." sabi ni Haden sa waiter.

Haden reserved the whole restaurant for us tonight. I'm having my usual green salad, Haden is having some pasta and steak.

"The magazine will be released next week." Pagbabasag ni Haden sa katahimikan. He's referring to the business magazine that has our photo in the cover page.

Haden didn't say a word when we were on our way here. Is he mad or something ba? Am I in trouble?

"That's great." Tipid kong sabi.

I started to eat my green salad. I tastes blad but I don't have any choice.

Napatigil naman si Haden sa paghihiwa ng steak.

"Is there something wrong Valeria?" Pagtataka niya.

Ibinaba ko naman yung fork na hawak ko.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking that? You're the one who's giving me a cold treatment since yesterday after we had that talk in my room." Pagtataka ko.

"You hurted me, Valeria."

I raised my eyebrows.

"Hurted you? How? " Pagtataka ko.

"You won't understand..." Bakas sa tone ng voice niya na something is bothering him.

I reached out for his hand on top of the table and held it.

"Come one sweetie, tell me what's wrong? " Pagtataka ko.

Tinignan ako ng seryoso ni Haden.

"Valeria, I've been really thinking about going to the next step. You have no idea how bad I want to start a family with you. I know you think that I'm asking too much but I'm not getting any younger, Valeria. And I don't see any reasons why we shouldn't start to settle down."

Napakunot yung noo ko sa sinabi niya.

I always thought this would happen. Haden is so much older than me. He's in the right age to settle down or have a family. He always wanted that to happen. And I'm still busy with what's going on with my life.

"Haden, believe me I want to wake up every morning with you. I want to settle down with you, but not right now. I told you, I don't want to have kids. We're both busy." Seryoso kong sabi.

"I'm so in love with you, Haden. I still fall for you everyday. You turned me to a better person. And I want to spend my whole lifetime with you, my first love, my first boyfriend, my first in everything." Nagpumilit akong ngumiti at pinisil yung kamay niya.

"I love you too, Valeria. You know I love you more." Tanging sagot ni Haden.

"Look, maybe we can take it to the next step. We've been together for nine whole years. Instead of thinking to start a family, why don't we get married?" Nakangiti kong sabi.

Napatingin naman sakin si Haden. Gosh, I've been waiting for him to pop the question. Believe me I wanted to get married instead of having kids. I always dreamt to marry my first love just like my parents.

"You'll marry me?" Pagtataka ni Haden.

Napangiti naman ako.

"Of course! You're the only person I want to end up with. I think I'm okay if get married first. Them maybe wait a few more years to talk about having a family." Suggest ko pa.
