We entered through the front doors of our high school and hugged each other good-bye to find our classes and our friends. I ran into Kayla and Akira along the way to my first period.
"What's up Kay?" Akira exclaimed dragging the "Y" in my name.
She was dressed in a purple evening rose T-Shirt with a pair of River Island dark denim Molly jeggings. Her waterfall stone earrings, rose bracelet, and Jansport backpack were all purple; purple was Akira's favorite color, but it was also Ray Ray's, which means she was trying to impress him. Her hair was straightened with the ends in waves and the black Mimco glitter split headband and black pastry varsity chic Pastry's complimented her outfit well. She topped everything off with her Purity Ring that she wore every day; and it wasn't just for show.
I giggled. "Nothing much; what's up with ya'll?"
"Same old, same old," Kayla replied.
Kayla was wearing a black Chanel tank top with the designer logo dripping in silvery glitter in the center. She had on a pair of skinny jeans with her black ballet pumps. The light curls in her hair gave her a proper look today, along with the skull studded black beanie and her black suede studded backpack. Her silver "dance" diamond necklace and Chanel stud earrings gave her style the "oomph" she needed for today. Craig's mouth is going to fall right to the ground when he sees how swagged out Kayla looks!
I felt someone hop onto my back and I nearly fell to the ground in the process. I was able to keep myself up once I stabled my legs.
"Deja... Why did you do that?" I huffed.
Deja was always one to kid around, but she never failed to impress when it came to whatever she had to match. She has a big crush on Jacob and she knows he's a fan of mustaches, so she had on a white "I Love Mustache" sweatshirt and the same Jeggings Akira has on. Deja's accessories consisted of a double finger black mustache ring, mustache earrings, and a mustache pendant. She carried her black Carrot mustache backpack and was wearing a pair of black high top converse. The mustache swag was more of Jacob's style, but Deja having her hair straightened with light waves and tight curls being tied around to the back fit the real her perfectly.
She laughed. "'Cause I felt like it, now MUSH to class."
I loosened the grip I had on Deja's legs to keep her holstered up on my back and dropped her. I straightened up the letterman jacket I had on as Deja got off the ground and glared at me. She stopped shooting eye-daggers at me when she realized what I had on.
"Oooh is that Chres's Letterman," she indicated in a teasing voice.
I blushed and looked away. "Shut up."
Kayla laughed. "Let's not tease the girl now. Come on, so we won't be late for class."
"Kayla's right. Although we know this is how we are everyday."
Akira pulled her brush out of her backpack and used it as a mic. She stepped back and yelled "FUCK SCHOOL!" into it. Akira then dropped her brush on the floor, and was about to walk away, when she turned back around to pick her brush back up. She used it as a mic again saying "I'm still gonna go though."
The girls and I just laughed at her silliness on the way to class. We sat in Chemistry, learning about completely nothing, until the bell rang for 2nd period.
I have my Animal Science class with Chres, so that's what makes this period fun. I walked in and was about to take a seat next to him when some other chick did before me.
She had blue hair and when she greeted Chres, she had an Atlantan accent.
I took a seat behind my brother instead. He turned around and smiled.
