By now, it was close to midnight, and I was bored out of my mind at this party. I couldn't find Ki'Loni, I couldn't find the boys, and I couldn't find Kayden so we could get the hell up out of here. I took a seat on one of Daniel's couches and began to think. I wonder why I saw Kayden in my eyes like that. It's happened a couple of times before, but never as far as where I wanted to just say everything that was on my mind to her; almost like a confession of... Love?
I shook my head furiously and buried my head in my hands. I can't have feelings for my sister; I just can't. It's wrong, but for some reason, it felt so right...
I stood up and decided to go look for her. Right now, I just wanted to leave here with someone close. I walked around the large crowd of people to find her. I came across one of my boys and their girls every now and then, but none of them knew where Kayden was. I was starting to get worried. I went to go find Jake; maybe she was with him.
I was dead wrong. I noticed he had Zonnique and Bahja sitting on either side of him with Breaunna sitting in his lap. That nigga was straight up wasted cheating on Kayden with the three messiest girls in the school. She's going to be pissed when I tell her this. I just have to find her first...
I moved around Daniel's house a little more and ended up finding Ki'Loni all hugged up on some guy. I think his name was Justin Combs? She didn't look drunk at all and that was the problem.
I folded my arms and stood in front of them, making myself noticed. Their gazes met mine and once Ki'Loni saw me, her flirtatious look dropped like a stone.
"Chres," she began, "it's not what it looks like."
"Save your excuses for some other nigga," I objected. "I'm done with your shit."
Ki'Loni steadily kept calling out to me, but I just ignored her as I stormed off in another direction. I was so pissed off that I almost didn't notice that I stepped on something near the stairs. I picked up the item and realized it was Kayden's iPhone. Could she be up here?
I made my way up the stairs and halfway up the steps, I started hearing thumping noises. I assumed it was just another couple fucking, but when I made it to the top, I began to hear screaming and cries for help. It sounded like Kayden. I ran in the direction to where the screams were coming from and found Daniel's room. I pressed my ear near the door and listened closely to the voices inside the bedroom to confirm my suspicions.
Every voice I heard sounded all so familiar.
"Kayden's a good fuck," Daniel bragged.
By then, I was already trying to open up the door, but it was locked.
"Plus she's a virgin too," Julian added, "and the tighter the hole the deeper it goes."
I was trying my best to find a way to get the door open, but it wouldn't budge.
"If ya'll thought she was tight before," Langston announced, "her shit is really going to be stretched out when I get done with her."
I heard the sound of a belt unbuckling.
"All right bitch, spread ya legs..."
That demand sent a shock through my body. The rage I had bottled up inside was released and the door to Daniel's room swung open almost snatching itself off the hinges.
"GET THE FUCK UP OFF MY SISTER!!!"
All three of them whipped their heads around in my direction.
"Chres, you better wait," Langston ordered. "You can have her back after we're done."
I gritted my teeth and in a matter of seconds, I had Langston on the ground punching his face in. Julian attempted to pull me off of him, but I elbowed him in the face. He held his face and I tackled him to the ground giving him the same punishment as I did to Langston. Daniel caught my blind side and decked me in the face, but when I'm in a bad mood and in a fight, it's not over until all of my opponents are on the ground. I stood up and wiped away the small amount of blood I had on my mouth.
Daniel was going to receive the worst ass kicking of all time. I gave him an uppercut to the stomach then punched him square in the jaw. It might be dislocated, but I didn't give two shits about what happened to him. These niggas are going to pay for what they did to Kayden.
Langston and Julian caught me off guard and held me back by my arms. That gave Daniel the chance to regain his composure and begin to land blows to my stomach. I was getting dizzy by the fifth punch, but I was able to head butt Daniel hard enough to make him lose his footing for a while, along with elbowing the two dumbasses behind me. I grabbed the back of their shirts and knocked their heads together, knocking them out.
It was just me and Daniel now. I noticed the fear in his eyes with every step I took getting closer to him. I jerked him by his shirt collar and shot him a death glare; one that showed him that I meant business.
"If you ever come near her or even think about laying your filthy hands on Kayden again, I swear you won't make it out alive next time."
I threw him off to the side, making his head purposely hit the wall. I looked over at him as he let his eyelids drop, as a sign of slipping into unconsciousness.
"And for your sake, there better not be a next time..."
I rushed over to Kayden, like nothing even happened, and untied her from the bed. She looked a mess; her clothes were ripped, she was bleeding in a place she shouldn't be, her cheek was swollen, and she was crying hysterically. I wrapped her up in my jacket and covered her up in the remaining clothes she had that would do her some good. I picked her up bridal style and rushed her out the room. Not a lot of people at the party noticed, but it always had to be someone who would make a big scene out of situation.
"Chres!"
I stopped halfway out of reach to the front door to see all of our friends running towards us.
"You found her?" Akira quizzed with worry in her tone.
I nodded. They all gasped at the sight of her.
"What happened to her?" Ray Ray asked seriously.
"She looks a mess," Deja exclaimed sounding scared.
"Back up," I ordered. "Give her some space! She's been through a lot, okay?"
Kayla's eyes traveled down to her blood stained thigh high socks and her eyes widened once she saw where the source of the bleeding was coming from. She looked away and was close to breaking down into tears. Kayla had realized what happened; so did Craig, and then the others, soon afterwards. Craig delayed the question not wanting to say the word that would be used.
"Was she...?"
I nodded.
"Who..." Jacob broke out hesitantly, "Who did this to her?"
I looked away. I didn't want to talk about the incident right now. Just thinking about it made me want to go back upstairs and finish what I started.
"I'll tell you guys when I get home..."
My hand was inches away from the door knob when someone grabbed my arm and stopped me. It was Craig.
"Chresanto, we know Kayden's your sister, but she's our friend too. You have to tell us who did this to her."
"Right now," Deja demanded.
I didn't say a word. I snatched my arm away and stormed out of Daniel's house. It didn't take me long to search for my Bugatti since I was in such a hurry. I unlocked the car and gently laid Kayden down in the passenger's seat. She had stopped crying by the time I was downstairs, back in the house, and passed out. I moved some of the strands of hair out of her face and wanted to cry just looking at her. I closed her side of the door, went over to mine, and started up my car.
On the way back home, I kept having thoughts: I should've been there for her. Why wasn't I watching her? What kind of brother am I for letting this happen to my little sister? I'm the one at fault... I'm the one to blame...
