Chapter 18 - Gone?

The six boys heard screaming, "Oh my God someone has been stabbed, call the police and an ambulance". Suga immediately didn't feel right, something was off. He got up and ran to the direction of the screaming with the others running closely behind. He noticed that there was a crowd around two boys on the floor, one bleeding profusely and the other one sobbing whilst trying to stop the blood flow with his hands. "No no no no please somebody help me", he screamed.

Suga stopped with eyes wide and realised the two boys were Iwa and Kawa, he felt sick and couldn't breathe however he was brought back down to earth when the others arrived. Akaashi and Kenma screamed, "Kawa, Kawa, please wake up".

Kuroo knelt down at the side of the hysterical boy and tried to help with the other ones injuries. Iwa sobbed, "they were trying to stab me but Kawa ran in front of me and pushed me out of the way and they got him instead. He was distraught and crying, " Kawa, please wake up, don't leave me, I've only just found you.

A few minutes later the ambulance and police arrived. They placed the unconscious Kawa in the back and Iwa got in and went to the hospital with him.

The club staff arranged transport for the others to join their friends at the hospital. Iwa was sat outside of the room when the other's arrived, he was an absolute mess. Suga ran over, "Iwa what's happening with Kawa, please tell me he is ok", Suga started to hyperventilate but within seconds Daichi was by his side holding him and rubbing his back gently. "They've taken him down for emergency surgery to see if they can stop the bleeding. I can't lose him, I love him and if he dies it's all my fault. He got hurt trying to save me".

"Iwa, no one blames you, it isn't your fault. He loves you that's why he did it but don't give up on him yet, he's a fighter. If anyone can get through this it's him", Akaashi sobbed. The boys all circled the spikey haired boy and held each other.

Four hours later the doctor walked over to the boys and looked straight at Iwa, " he's made it through surgery and we've stopped the bleeding but he's still unconscious. The next 24 hours are critical but I'd advise you to say your goodbyes just in case he doesn't make it. He will still be able to hear you even though he isn't conscious" and with that he walked away.

Suga and Iwa were inconsolable at the thought that Kawa may not make it. The boys decided to go in one by one to give their last goodbyes.
