Chapter 19 - Don't leave me

Kuroo entered the room first and sat next to the sleeping boy, "Kawa, I know I don't know you very well yet but I wanted to say thank you for loving Iwa. He's the happiest that I've ever seen him so if you can, come back. It will destroy him if you don't. We all love you. He bent over and kissed Kawa's forehead and left the room.

Bokuto sat in the chair next to Kawa and began to speak, "Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I think that you are a really nice guy and we all love you especially Iwa. I'm scared of what will happen if you leave him so please, please, if you can wake up", he left with tears rolling down his face.

Daichi looked at the pale, unconscious boy in front of his and sighed, "you have to fight this, you have so many people who love you so if you can hear me fight for them. Fight for Suga and Iwa, we love you.

Kenma walked slowly towards his friend, he was crying softly, " hey sweetie. Please don't leave us we need you. You are such a kind, warm and genuine person and an amazing friend. I've really enjoyed our time together so please wake up. I love you", he came out of the room and walked straight into Kuroo's arms.

Akaashi was next, he had managed to hold it together until now. He cried quietly and held his friends hand. "Kawa, you can't leave us, it's always been us 4 together against everything else, so please come back, I love you". Bokuto was waiting for him when he got out.

Suga was a mess when he saw the silent, still boy laying in front of him. He sat and gently ran his fingers through his hair, he was devastated. "Hi Kawa, you promised me that we would never leave me so make sure that you keep that promise. I need you when I get married and have children,  I can't imagine my life without you in it so please wake up", he came out of the room, his body racked with sobs. Daichi held him closely and whispered words in his ear to try and calm him  down.

Iwa looked at the door to the room, he began to walk towards it but he felt bile rising in his throat, he couldn't do anything but vomit all over the floor. His friends ran towards him to try and comfort him. When he was eventually calm enough he entered the room and sat on the bed by his side whilst holding his hand and gently caressing his cheek, even now he still looked beautiful.

"Baby, I know it's only been a short time but I feel like you are my soulmate. I believe that God brought you into my life just when I needed you most. Is is weird that I dream about us buying a home together, getting married and starting a family but I can't help it, I just want to be with you all of the time. I bought you a present that I was going to give you tonight but I didn't get a chance to. Iwa placed the promise ring and put it on his boyfriends finger and kissed him gently on the lips, "I love you pretty Kawa".

Just then the alarms started going off and the machines showing his heart rate flat lined. Nurses and Doctors came running into the room. "Please wait outside sir we need to treat him". Iwa was pushed out of the room and he fell to his knees on the floor screaming and crying, "no, no, no you can't leave me".

His friends rallied around him and picked him up off the floor but he pushed them away. He began to run and shouted, "I don't want to live without him, I can't". His friends realised that he had entered the stairwell leading to the roof.

Daichi shouted to Boukto and Kuroo, "we have to stop him. I think he's gonna jump".
