Chapter eighteen: Nothing More Than A Housewife

Levi's pov

❝That fucker just kissed Y/n!❞

As I was holding the two glasses of champagne in my hands, I squeezed them and the glasses shattered, cutting both of my palms in the process. But then Y/n pushed him away and slapped him.

❝That's a good girl.❞

Everyone just stood there for a second, surprised. And so was i. Then Y/n's father grabbed her by her hand and lead her out of everyone's eye. I followed them because nobody can touch my Y/n. He leads her inside the house and into his bedroom but that fucker was smart. He locked the door, but I'm not an idiot. I listened closely behind the closed doors to hear what he was saying

''Do you even understand what you just did?!'' Y/n's father asked sternly

''He touched me!'' Y/n said back

''AND YOU SHOULD'VE LET HIM!'' Her father screamed at Y/n

''What? Why?'' Y/n asked

''BECAUSE'' Y/n's father took a breath

''Because you're marrying him'' Y/n's father said quietly

''What? NO!'' Y/n screamed at him

''Yes, you are. I'm not letting my business down only because of a spoiled brat like you'' Y/n's father said

''How could you?! You sold me like a dog?! How dare you?!'' Y/n said

''Oh don't give me this bullshit! Your mom knows that I wanted to do this to you when you were just born, but that bitch didn't allow me! So now you came here and yes, I sold you to Reiner's father! Now you will marry Reiner, have his kids and be a perfect little housewife!'' Her father said back to her

There was silence for a second and then I heard a sound that made my blood go cold. It was a hit-like sound.

''Don't you ever call my mother a bitch!'' Y/n said with pure anger in her voice

''Don't you ever hit me!'' Y/n's father said back

''I have dreams! I have a singing career! I have someone who wants me and accepts me for who I am! '' Y/n said as you could hear the pain in her voice

''Oh, and who would that be?'' Her father said trying not to laugh

''Levi! He understands! He listens! He helps!'' Y/n said

I was pretty flattered by that. I mean the love of my life just made me feel special. I was pretty proud. And yes, I did smile.

''Levi? Don't make me laugh, Y/n! Don't you understand you're just another deal for him? You're a money-making cow for him! You have known each other for such a short period of time but you're already falling for him! Pathetic!'' Y/n's father said trying to hold in a laugh
