Chapter 3

"Does she like him or something?" people whisper as me and Childe walk through the streets. I suddenly realised, what if he finds out about the feelings I have for him?? He'll think he's too good for me because he's a popular idol now. "I don't want him to find out!!", I yell out in my head, or so I thought until Childe responds "You don't want who to find out?" looking confused. I accidentally yelled that out loud, fuck.

<childe pov>

I stand there while I watch y/n run away, they looked so embarrassed for some reason.. Was it something I did? "Girlie wait! Where are you going?!?". Why is that sussy baka always running away from me? I walk the rest of the way to school alone and defeated. Whenever I approach y/n during school they always seem to avoid me, I did something really bad didn't I? I have started to notice how much they have avoided me the past few days, refraining from talking to me.

Hours later, during lunch

I notice y/n walking alone while holding their lunch, they were quite a distance away from me so I yell out "HEY GIRLIE, MEET ME AT THE SCHOOL ROOF!" I hope they heard me, I have something important to talk to them about.

"HEY GIRLIE, MEET ME AT THE SCHOOL ROOF!" was what I heard behind me, Childe??? What does that baka want now?? Everyone starts staring at me weirdly because of the shit he yelled out. Why is he so embarrassing sometimes?! Sighing, I walk up the stairs to the location he told me to go to. What does he want with me? Does he not know that I'm trying to avoid him?? Once I reach the roof, I see him sitting on one of the benches- wait no.. he's.. Squatting?? Fucking weirdo.
