Cornering you into the nearest wall, Childe looks into your eyes, grief? Confusion? You were having trouble making out what he was going to tell you. "Y/n.. Why have you been avoiding me lately? You've even missed my phone calls 69,420 times while I was away, what's going on please tell me!" As he comes closer towards you "Was it me? Did I do something wrong?", you just stand there, startled while staring at his eyes, he looked so hurt.. "I- I.." You start stammering while your eyes tear up, all you feel is the guilt building up, "I-it's because I love you, you sussy baka!!". Pushing him away, you run downstairs and hide in one of the school storerooms. You start crying uncontrollably and try to wipe the hot tears off of your face with your sleeve, "Why am I such a crybaby??"

Due to your loud ugly sobbing, you are unable to hear footsteps coming your way. As you look up, you see some guy looking down at you. "You okay sharty bae?" he asks, "I'm fine" you respond while wiping your face with your sleeve. Sitting down next to you, he wipes a tear from your face, you have only met for like 3 seconds and yet you still feel so comforted by his company. Feeling affection-starved, you hug him tightly "What are you doi-" he says before sighing.

A while later you wake up, realizing that you were sleeping on his lap the past hour you sit up and apologise "I'm so sorry!-", "It's fine." He interjects while smiling. "I never got to ask.. What's your name?" You stare at his eyes longingly, he was quite a hottie ngl "The name's Kaeya, what's yours?". Blushing slightly, "y/n.. y/n's my name" you look down until he reaches towards you and re-adjusts your fringe. "Holy shit I have my class to go to!" You exclaim as you run off, who was that Kaeya guy?? "NO! My feelings are for Childe not him, y/n you baka!!" You tell yourself. Walking towards the classroom for your next period, you notice Childe sitting at his desk, "Where have you been, y/n?" he asks "I was worried about you when you ran off.." he looks down sad..

"There was this student named Kaeya, I think he's new-"

"A guy named who?" He asks, staring at you with a threatened look..
