After the game ended, people began to scatter around the court. Players greeted their fans, old friends and acquaintances met each other again after a long time, lovers who were too busy to see each other again finally reunited again.

"Romero-sannnn!!!" A blur of reddish-orange zoomed past the crowd of people. The Brazilian player barely recognized the familiar voice of his pupil before his vision was filled with brightness by the young woman.

"Shouyou! My old pupil! Good to see you again!!" He greeted Hinata warmly in Portuguese as he coiled his arms around her waist and pulled her into a friendly hug, patting her back gently. "Your games with the Jaguars were amazing!! I can't wait to see you play with the local team soon!"

"Thank you!!" she beamed at him before noticing the small familiar figure hiding behind his legs shyly. She gasped in shock. "Is that you, Rubens?! You've grown so big now! Hey, it's me, Shouyou!! Remember?!"

Romero chuckled at his son's behaviour. "This little guy always watched your old videos back when you used to play beach volleyball. He became a big fan of yours since then. We told him that he does know 'Ninja Shouyou' but he didn't believe us." he ruffled his hair playfully as Rubens pouted. "We showed him one of the pictures we took back then and he was surprised." he leaned forward to whisper at her. "He keeps a picture where you hold him when he was a baby in his room. That's his most valuable thing right now."

"Papai!!" Rubens whined loudly, couldn't hide his embarrassment any longer. "Stop embarrassing me in front of Shouyou!!"

"Oh now you call her Shouyou?! You always called her 'Amo-- OW!!" The father yelped when his son stomped on his foot. "Fine! Fine!"

Then Rubens turned to his idol. "Shouyou!! Can I have your autograph please?!" He asked cutely as he held out his blank notebook and a marker pen.

Hinata flashed him a bright smile, eyes crinkling in the corner. "Sure! Anything for my biggest fan!" She signed the notebook and handed it back to him but not before surprising the poor boy with a peck on his head, almost making him pass out on the spot.

"Oh my! So many new relationships discovered today!" Romero joked.

Hinata rolled her eyes before shooting an unimpressed look at her former mentor. "I have a boyfriend, Romero-san." she reminded him.

"Oh yeah. The guy with the undercut in the Warriors, right? He's pretty scary with his blocks. Kourai was pissed that he had been stuffed so many times." he chuckled as he recalled how Hoshiumi squawked in rage when Hyakuzawa blocked him in a game. The shorter man almost made a scene when he swore loudly while the taller man shot him nervous looks. Their captain had to hold him back before he could start a fight.

While Hinata conversed with Romero and Rubens, Kanoka went to see Sakusa, who was cooling down at one of the empty spots around the court. He was surprised to see her there. "Kanoka? What are you doing here?"
