Cheater!Akaashi x Reader

A/n: This oneshot was requested by puanhoran . Thanks for requesting! I hope you like it even though it's not that good.

Y/n and Akaashi has been a couple for a while now. It started pretty good. Everyone who sees them would always said they're the "relationship goals". They were the type of relationship everyone is wishing for. Nobody ever heard them got into a fight; not even once. They were perfect. 

Mark my words, readers. I said were.

It all starts going downhill after one certain rumor. A rumor that Akaashi has been seeing someone else. You don't really mind it a first. Maybe someone is jealous and decided to mess up your relationship. That's what you were thinking, at least. I mean, come on. Who wouldn't be jealous of you two?

Your relationship is still like usual. You didn't ask Akaashi about the rumor, nor did he said anything about it. A couple of weeks past by, and the rumor are slowly fading. But just as quickly, the rumor came back when one of your friends start bringing up about it.

"Y/n, have you heard about the rumor? About Akaashi?" you look up from your desk to see your friend, f/n. "Ah, yes. It's been a hot topic recently. Of course I've heard about it. Why?" when f/n was about to answer you quickly say "If you're going to say you believe that rumor, then I don't wanna hear it. I know my darling, f/n. He's not like that," you said and continue reading your book.

"I know, y/n. I used to not believe it too. But I saw it with my own eyes," you look back up with confusion written on your face. "Are you sure you're not mistaken him for somebody else? Maybe he just have the same hairstyle like Akaashi," you still don't wanna believe those stupid rumors.

"No, y/n! It was Fukurodani's jacket. Who else could it be?!" f/n is furious now because you chose to believe Akaashi instead of your own friend. "Alright alright, calm down. I didn't say you were lying, okay?" f/n hissed. "What did you see? Akaashi walking around with a girl or something? I'm sure he's just hanging out with his friend, that's all,"

"Are you saying that if a person is hugging someone and kiss their forehead while saying goodbye counts as friends? I don't think so, y/n," you were dumbstruck. 'Is it true? But I know Akaashi, he won't do that.'  You just stared into space, not knowing what to say. Seeing your reaction, f/n sighs once again knowing that you still don't believe her. "Okay I get it, you don't trust me. And I don't want to ruin your relationship with him either, but how about you ask Akaashi regarding this situation? Only he knows the truth. I don't want you to be heartbroken, y/n. If one day you see it with your own eyes, don't said I didn't warn you,"

Maybe f/n was right. You need to ask Akaashi about this. Only him can confirm the truth. And the fact that none of you ever said anything about this topic makes it harder to know what really happens. "Okay,"

"Nee, Akaashi. Mind if I ask you something?" It was recess. Akaashi and Bokuto are heading to the canteen together to get some food. They always eat together after all, it's nothing new. "What is it, Bokuto-san? Do you need help with your shoelaces again? I taught you already how to tie them, didn't I?" Akaashi said with his usual I'm-so-done-with-this-fucking-owl face.

"N-not that! You promised not to talk about it anymore!" Bokuto look around to make sure nobody heard what Akaashi just said about him having trouble with his own shoelaces. "Then what?" now Akaashi is getting curious. That owl don't usually ask something with such a serious tone. "About y/n" now Bokuto is back to facing Akaashi. "Y/n?"
