"Hey Rory!" I greet the brown haired girl in front of me as I engulf her in a hug. It's been ages since me and Aurora saw each other again, so to say that I enjoyed our little moment is an understatement.

"Hey girl!" She greets back as the two of us now break the hug, her looking at me with her hazel coloured eyes. As always she looked stunning today, wearing a white crop top with a green jacket covering her arms, baggy green jeans underneath it with some white air forces. I always thought the girl had a good taste when it came to clothes and she proves me right today.

"James!" I greet the brown haired boy who stood behind his girlfriend, engulfing him in a hug too. Like Aurora I haven't seen James in a while, so the two of them coming over again made me very excited again, trying to forget about my problems that I have with Christian for at least the rest of the evening.

"Sol!" He replies, his muscular arms releasing its grip on my body as the three of us go inside, then hanging up their jackets before stepping further into the house.

"We might've brought you guys something." Aurora says with a beaming smile on her face, one I've missed for too long now. The girl would always light up the whole room whenever she was present, which was one of her best traits.

"You didn't have to." I reply as I see the little box the girl was holding in her hand, James standing behind her with a smile too as he gently lays his hands on her shoulders, the two of them sharing a short kiss before Aurora breaks free of his grip, walking up to me to give me the gift the two of them had bought us.

"If I would've known you would bring me a gift I would've gotten you two one too." I tell them as I grab a scissor from the kitchen, not wanting to ruin the wrapping paper too much.

"We knew, so we didn't say on purpose." James shrugs, the two of them obviously knowing I would've bought them something if I heard about them bringing a gift along.

"That's why we didn't say it."

As I remove the wrapping paper I see two rings, little messages carved within the gold the rings were made off.

"To keep the promises we make, forever and ever." I read out loud as I see the the message the ring had carved in them, a confused face following as I try to figure out what it meant.

"Sol, do you know when-" an unexpected voice speaks, stopping mid phrase as he enters the living room, the sight of his little sister and his girlfriend in front of him as I hold the two rings.

"Well, I guess they're already here." Christian smiles as he walks up to his sister, engulfing her in a hug as he shares a handshake with James after, something they'd always do whenever the two of them crossed paths again. Even though Christina didn't like the boy in the beginning, he's way nicer to James now, the two of them going out sometimes for example.

"I will have to change though." He remarks, looking at his outfit, the American boy wearing a Chelsea training suit as he wore Jordan's on his feet, the boy scratching his neck a bit as he compared his outfit to the ones in front of him, which were way more formal.

"Don't rush." I say as he makes his way upstairs, me receiving a warm smile in return, which makes me blush a little. You'd say that throughout these 10 months I'd be used by his smiles, glares and small gestures, but every time Chris does it it makes me feel safe, special but above all loved.

"You two seem to be getting along quite well." James remarks as the three of us take a seat in the living room, me frowning a bit at his sudden comment.

"Why wouldn't we be?" I ask him intrigued, not knowing his reasoning for the comment he earlier made at all, which made me a bit suspicious.

"I don't know Sol, I'm just happy for you two." He answers, putting his arm around Aurora as he gives me a kind smile, me feeling a bit embarrassed. I thought James knew something he didn't need to know, but it turns out he was just happy for the two of us.
