I yawn then roll over to hug Greg. But he was already out of my bed. I wondered where he could be. He always seemed to be up way before me. I did like to sleep in.Today we were all off work. We were going to run errands to get some stuff for our wedding. I could not wait. I flop back down on the pillow. I was hoping to sleep in and cuddle with Greg for a little bit at least.
I sigh. Maybe he had to run into work. He did that sometimes. Not all the time. Maybe he left me a note in the kitchen to let me know he had.
I was also going to meet up with Mrs. Brady and his sisters to go over more things about the wedding. I had yet to pick a made of honor. I had been an only child so I did not know which one of Greg's sister's I should pick here.
That was going to be a hard one for me. I liked them all.

"Morning, sweetheart. I was trying to beat you up here before you woke up, but you beat me" Greg chuckles. He hands me breakfast on a tray. He made me breakfast in bed.
"Oh, Greg what a lovely surprise this is!" I gush. "I love you Greggy!" I coo with pride.
"Do not call me Greggy!" he laughs.
"Why not?" I ask him.
"Remember that one girl I told you who once used me to get to Marcia and get her own way? Her name was Jennifer. She would call me Greggy to butter me up. I have always hated being called that now" he winces.
"Oh Greg. I am sorry. I did not mean to forget that story. I do love your full name is all. I did not mean anything by that" I remind him gently. I plant a kiss on his lips.
"I know. I am being oversensitive. I am sorry. Forget it" he sighs. "I made you scrambled eggs the way you love it. And toast. With apple juice. I know you hate orange." he points to all the foods.
"You are the sweetest man. And you do not have a thing to be sorry about. I won't do it again. I promise you. That girl did not know what she was missing out on. Now you are all mine" I say. "I am glad she dumped you"
"Same! We would have never found one another if I stayed with someone like that. Mom said she was trying to give me a snow job" he laughs. "I was the only one who did not see that"
"Love can be blind" I remind him.
He plants a kiss on my lips.
"Not when it comes to us. This is the real deal" he declares.
"Yes" I agree with a nod.
"Let's forget about Jennifer and eat our breakfast together" he says.
"Sounds great" I tell him.
We begin to eat our meal. And he cheers up. It did hurt inside to see him hurt over someone who treated him so poorly. Used him like that. He was so sweet natured.
