Greg Brady is all grown up. Finished college and is taking over his father's company after his father had passed away from a stroke. He moved back home to look after his mom.
Alice is moved in with her meat cutter. The others are married with kids...

Narrative Voice:
Greg Brady was now twenty-three years of age. Moved back in with his mother due to the fact their father had passed away. And their housekeeper Alice could not live there any longer. She had moved back in with her new husband.
The meat cutter she always had longed to marry had popped the question. Greg's mother would not keep her there in the home. She wanted Alice to have her happily ever after. Greg knew his mother was sad that only he and Bobby lived nearby. Everyone else was grown and married.
Most had kids of their own and only visited during the holiday times. Greg hated to see his mother being so alone and sad. He hoped one day she might meet a nice man and church and remarry.
But that did not seem likely. Sam the meat cutter had tried to fix his mother up with some friends of his, but it never worked out for her.

His mother had made friends with a kind lady next door. They went to the same church sometimes. And the lady was always checking in on his mother.
Doing crafts with her. And Greg had heard so many endless stories about how fantastic this new neighbor was. Daisy Mae Ferris was her name. Daisy happened to be his own age.
One thing Greg marked on his to do list when he returned back home was to meet this Daisy Mae and thank her properly for looking out for his mother.
Not many people his age often looked out for the elderly. And he was just curious to meet this Daisy Mae and see how wonderful she really was. He hoped to make some new friends back home.
As well as keep some old ones. He planned on looking up some old high school buddies as well. Greg had to take over his father's business.

His father had been so proud to take over for his boss at the time. Greg did not have the heart to sell the place.
He hired Bobby to work with him. Bobby to wanted to keep the family business around. So, he was happy to lend a helping hand.
Thankfully in college Greg had taken some business classes.
He was all set to be back home. What he was not expecting was to happen was fall in love.
