We Fly

"I hate Umbridge and anything that has to do with her," Hailey whined. She was clutched onto Harry like a Kuala bear. He was pulling her to the great hall for their last exam of the semester. Defence against dark arts.

"Oh sister, we all hate her." He said as she smiled against his shoulder.

"Are we going to spend the summer at Dursleys?" She asked as he shrugged.

"I hope not." He said truthfully. Spending the summer at their aunt's place was the worst thing ever. Harry sometimes wondered how they lived in that place for eleven years. "I mean, Sirius did ask us if we wanted to stay at his place. But I couldn't write to him back. But he already knows our answer. Besides Mrs Weasley too asked us to stay over at their place."

"Hmm."

Harry saw the change in his sister's demeanour as soon as the word Weasley left his mouth. Hailey didn't tell Harry the exact story. She knew he would get mad at Ron if he knew what happened. And he didn't want to cause a problem in their friendship. So she just told him that she and Ron just and a random fight over Ginny dating Michael and all.

He thought it was okay and wanted to give them space.

"I still don't get why Ginny is dating Michael. I mean, he isn't bad. But it's like... Not a perfect match." Harry said as Hailey let out a small laugh. They came to a haul in front of the great hall.

"Well brother, I guess this is where we part ways."

"It is."

"Best of luck. May God be with us and we pass the exam." The siblings shook hands formally and entered the hall. They always did this before their exams. 'The Potter exam tradition' they called it.

Harry sat behind Hermione while Hailey sat in front of her.

"Hermy." She whisper shouted turning around. "Best of luck."

"Best of luck."

The exam was almost over when a small cracking sound could be heard. Umbridge got up from the chair walking outside the hall. Hailey couldn't help but smile. She knew what it was.

Just then, firecrackers started bursting and the Weasley twins entered the room with their broomsticks. All the students got up from their chairs. With the whip of air, all the papers flew away.

"They went all out on it!" Hermione exclaimed with a laugh. Their voices were barely audible over the loud noise.

"That's why they are my favourite twins!" She yelled back.

There was a big firecracker dragon that chased Umbridge out of the class. All the students followed the twins outside the castle. Everyone was cheering along as Hermione wiped the corner of her eyes to stop herself from crying. She was proud of them.

Fred steadied his broom in front of her.

"Don't miss me too much kay?"

"I'll try."

"Haileykins, take care of her," Fred said turning towards the girl.

"I will."

Hailey was laughing along with them when she felt some sort of pain in her lower back. Her smile dropped as her vision went a bit blurry and she saw a face. It was Sirius. Hermione had noticed her and immediately held her up.
