"Everyone, get in line please!" Iida yelled out.

Class 1-A was currently doing a training exercise, the goal: limited sense training. It basically meant that the students had to lessen one of their senses and fight each other. Excitement spread across the class, for each individual wanted to challenge themselves, with this exercise maximizing the results. Everyone was excited except for one student, his name was Shoto Todoroki, and like with most things he wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the training regimen.  Each student had to approach 2 boxes filled with slips of paper. 1 of them was labeled with 4 things: Sight, Hearing, Arm , and Leg, the other was of 2 things: Left and Right. Every participant drew 2 slips, whatever slip they drew from box 1 they'd have to half the effectiveness of that particular sense. For example: if you got "Arm" you didn't use one of your arms. Now the question was which one, that brings us to the second box, which determined which side you can't use.

So one by one they all drew 2 slips, wondering why Aizawa was their teacher, for they had to participate, whether or not the liked the slips they got.

"Hey Sero, what did you get?"

"I got arm, left, which majorly sucks, what did you get denk?"

"Hearing, right, it's not the worst thing I could get"

"Oh hey Deku, what did you get?"

"O-oh um hey Uraraka, I-I got leg, left"

"Ooo cool, I got leg, right"

No one seemed to notice what Todoroki drew, with one look at it his heart dropped, sight, right. Thoughts raced across his mind, What should I do? Should I go on with it? Should I tell someone? But he couldn't, not with the threat of his sibling's well being on the line. Whenever Endeavor told Shoto to do something he would threaten his sibling's lives to get Shoto to comply. It was horrible, revolting in fact, but it worked. Fear clenched his heart as the internal conflict continued to rage on.

"Todoroki? Did you hear me? I said you're going against Bakugo" A lazy voice interrupted his thoughts.

Even worse, Bakugo is incredibly strong, I've already lost to him once.

Todoroki looked up to see a relatively angry Bakugo standing a few feet away from him.

"You better go all out on this Icyhot, don't pussy out like last time."

Shoto sighed accepting the impending doom towering over him.

A cloth was soon wrapped around his right eye, drowning him in complete darkness. The infinite abyss of black was overwhelming, he couldn't see one bit of light. Todoroki never had a fear of the dark but this was different, his chest clenched, suffocating him. His breathes became increasingly faster.

"Hey, Problem child, you okay? We're going to the training grounds soon," a voice came from the direction behind him, which he identified as Aizawa.

"Y-yeah I'm fine" Todoroki stuttered, coughing a little to cover up the mistake.

He made his way to the training ground, staying close to a random person, following their footsteps and body heat.

"Hey Todoroki, why are you following me bro?" came the voice of a limping Kirishima from his side.

"Oh sorry, is it bothering you?" Todoroki said softly trying to keep his voice steady.

"No, it's ok Todobro, just wondering,"

Todoroki hm'ed in respone.

They soon arrived, mentally preparing for the grueling training that was about to ensue. Todoroki stood there, silent, as usual, he was trying to figure out how to fight blind. He knew he had his other senses left which meant the main sense he had to rely on was hearing. Bakugo was a loud person with both his explosions and his explosive personality contributing to this, Todorki needed to track Baku's movements by the sounds he made. Bakugo also couldn't walk on his right leg, meaning he would use his explosions to propel himself adding fuel to the sound fire. Shoto knew that if he used his quick, the ice and fire would most likely shoot everywhere, due to his lack of aim without sight. So Todoroki devised a plan, he would only use his powers when he was absolutely certain where Bakugo was, but for the time being Todoroki would try to tire Bakugo out.

With this plan in mind Todoroki felt satisfied, with this he wouldn't give off any sort of clue that he was blind in his left eye.

"IZUKU VS URARAKA"

Todoroki heard both of them hop up onto the platform with a quick greeting. Both of them were pretty unstable due the the prohibition of use of one of their legs. Todoroki listened as they started to fight, he soon figured out that Uraraka started to float herself. This battle's outcome was already decided, with Deku quite unstable on one leg, Uraraka was able to move easily and packed in quite a few good punches, which eventually lead to the victory for Uraraka.

"URARAKA WINS!"

"NEXT UP, TODOROKI VS BAKUGO"

Todoroki exhaled, mentally preparing as him and Bakugo stepped onto the platform, Todoroki immediately got into a fighting stance with Bakugo doing the best he could with one less leg.

"READY......."

Inhale.

"SET....."

Exhale.

"FIGHT"
