To be king

chapter 2

I slowly woke to the sent of flowers a wonderful sent I wish I knew existed before the betrayal my children cause me to suffer from. I looked around I was in a thrown room if the thrown in the middle of the room had anything to go off of but there was dozens and dozens of golden flowers and just the right amount of light to make this the most beautiful room I have ever seen. I noticed how much lighter I felt and how flexible I felt to I have never felt this good in my entire life even when I was a kid it was an amazing feeling. but then I realized something I should be dead my childr-they killed me. it was an uncomfortable topic but if they killed me how am I here? I saw their eyes they were not eyes trying to pull a joke they wanted me dead I should know I had that same exact look when looking at someone trying to hurt the ones I cared about but why would they look at me that way? were they really that selfish to be willing to kill the father that raised them to get my inheritance?  where am I? I had so many questions but right now one things clear my children did not care about me the way I cared about them they used me for money and splurged on it that should have been my first warning I spoiled them too much and they became terrible people. if I had a second chance with them I would make sure that my children understood the value of family and how happiness was not from money but its too late now. 

I looked around and then saw my hands they were paws and they had fur maybe I did die after all. I looked closer at myself I had on armor it looked really heavy but it was really light for some reason and I had a crown on my head as well as horns. I felt like I was dreaming what had happened to me and why did I look like some glorified farm animal? I found a mirror while I was looking around the large beautiful room filled with flowers I realized I looked quite familiar for some reason which surprised me how could I be familiar with this form? what happened? why do I have fur? then I heard a nock coming from the other side of a very large door.

"my king I must speak with you one of my subordinates found a human in Snowdin everyone is ready to capture them but I want to make sure you knew before we came back with their soul as to not surprise you NEAAAHHHHAHAHA!" she said rather in confident tone.

it was in that moment I knew where I was and who I was or am now at least. I was in undertale somehow and I became the monster king of the underground who likes to go by king fluffy buns for some reason. soddenly the fur and the horns made sense I died and reincarnated as king Asgore and that (he thought while looking at Undyne) is Undyne captain of the royal guard.

"hohohoho you sound quite confident Undyne." I said to confirm my thoughts to see if it was true. 

"nnneeeaaahhh well of course we have the best king of all time here to lead us and with this last human soul we will finally reach the surface and monsters can finally have hope to see the sun again I can't let this opportunity slip by!" she said giving me more information than I was expecting but it was very helpful. 

after her announcement she ran back most likely going to look for the human child. 

at least now I know how far I am along in the story. this is quite the embarrassing story of my youth but I was once a die hard fan of undertale I was so infatuated with it that I know everything there is know of the game including who the last human soul is, that my friend means either we all go to the surface happily or we all die which is not something I look forward to experiencing again there is also the outcome that they kill some and spare the others. I hope for all our sakes that they decide to have mercy on us all and lead us to the surface to be happy. 

I suppose I must adapt to the situation I will never be able to go back to the past so I will have to live with my mistakes and live on in this body even if that means taking on the responsibility for asgores past mistakes and all. where ever asgores soul is I hope it is living in peace I don't know who put me here but I will not take this second chance for granted and I will live my new life to the fullest. for now I would go and see what the human is doing I will go and meet alphys and ask to see the human through the hidden cameras. I started to walk out the door from the room covered in beautiful flowers as I walk unknowingly beautiful flower petals trail behind me for a short while and to others if they ever saw it they would say there king has finally came back to rule like he used to so many years ago. a true king.....
