as I was on my throne contemplating my next move I decided I needed to do something of my peoples living conditions. the past asgore was grieving so his subjects haven't had much improvement in the living condition department since before the tragedy in his life happened. I am not the past asgore so while he had an excuse since he was grieving I do not and I cant with good conscience leave things the way they are. I learned enough in school to know how to read and what I'm reading isn't good. I obtained a document from a servant passing by to clean I asked them to fetch someone to get me a document holding everything I needed to know to in the state of the underground. they immediately did so leading to my current predicament. there was not enough room in the underground.

in about 20 short years its expected the underground will run out of room and sufficient food. its a serious problem one I am surprised asgore in the past ignored. well frankly I don't think he even looked at any of the documents since he was still grieving non of his subjects had the heart to tell him. I just sighed and got to work. I took another sheet of paper on my desk in my office 'it seemed asgore had one right next to the throne room so I didn't have to worry about looking for it' and began writing instructions on what to do next for each and every problem the underground is facing. I knew the work load was probably too much for the average human but I'm not human anymore I'm an immortal monster that won't die since now my son died I am back to being immortal so I don't have to worry about death stopping me so I can work till I pass out with no worries which is good because of all the work past asgore left me.

by the end of my workaholic moment I had already finished mountains of problems that could have been catastrophic had they been left alone in two piles. I called someone to drop these off at the place they needed to be and left it at that. my subjects will be able to solve the problems now with solutions laid bare for them to use as they please with my complete authority.

since the main paperwork problem was fixed and it was still pretty early I decided to fix another problem I will most likely have in the future and would be best to fix now. combat. I need to learn how to fight or when an enemy comes and I'm the only one left I won't be able to help myself and I'll die something I don't want to happen again anytime soon. so I spent the rest of the day and late into the night practicing my combat fighting an imaginary foe and practicing my skills I have learned in videos I learned when I was human. I was lazy and a workaholic but when I had free time I watched videos of people showing fighting techniques and how to know you're properly using them without hurting yourself and with my photographic memory all those videos came in handy. I ordered a dummy and for a week I practiced until I couldn't move then for another week I practiced my magic and asgores weapon the trident all day everyday. it was tiring but something that needed to be done and within that time somehow the bear belly asgore or I had was gone it was like it never existed in the first place and gave me boost of confidence that I didn't know I needed.

in the time I was spending having an intense work out sans came to visit me and we ended up talking. somehow the conversation lead to remembering deja vu in certain moments but not understanding it to sans telling me the resets and me being stunned to silence. after a while of me not responding sans was about to leave telling me to forget it when I stopped him and told him I believed him. I told him of the human alphys showed me on the cameras she has and how out of nowhere I felt the extreme urge to inform the underground they might be dangerous and to set up plans incase they were hostile and dangerous something I didn't understand until he told me what he did. or well thats a simplified version of what I told him. he ended up crying in joy promising to come back and that he needed to tell everyone else and teleported away.

I smiled sadly knowing that no one would believe him not even papyrus though he tried to. I knew he's come back upset so I prepared ketchup and other things he might enjoy when he does come back.

after that I started all over and upped my training. more grueling hours of training. ugh.

I asked one of the servants that was just standing around to fetch me some books from the library about humans and their souls. they just grumbled and left. I may have to fire them. eh I'll do it later who knows maybe he is having a bad day and will be better tomorrow I'll just give him a warning next time I see him.

I'll just be here swinging my trident. for hours.

once it was finally time for my break I started to study the books on humans and there souls and everything about them and if there was anything I could do to take there soul without killing them and therefore making a reset happen. so far nothing. I don't think this book has much on determination souls I seem to be the person with the most knowledge on the soul of determination well other than sans that is. so I took a notebook and started writing everything I knew about the soul of determination adding illustrations and everything then I pulled up images of the human as they went through the underground seemingly peaceful on a desktop computer and wrote down anything I noticed about them that I didn't know before. this notebook might be something I should give to sans the next time we meet since he would have more use for it than me and I'm not sure I even remember the resets who knows maybe one happened already and I have no idea if sans has all the knowledge I have about the humans soul then maybe he will be able to put this to better use.

the next week sans came back. he looked deviated and a reck and it made me feel all the worse since I knew this would happen. I sat him down on the table and got him things I knew he liked. he looked surprised at first but I just smiled and said. 'what kind of host would I be if I didn't search around to know your preferences especially since you didn't stay long enough last time for me to ask you directly' I said with my cheeriest smile possible trying to reassure sans. he took my answer at face value and just started drinking the ketchup without a care like it was alcohol. after a while of us talking and me drinking tea I gave him my notebook he looked surprised after looking at the contents of the book so I just old him that he'd need it if he was planning on stopping the human.

"wh- but won't you need this?" sans asked.

"I have a feeling you will make better use of it. since all I can seem to remember is short moments of deja vu but you remember everything if anyone is going to be able to use this to its fullest it's you." I explained.

he teared up and teleported right next me and gave me a big hug. he was small compared to me so it kind of felt like I was hugging a small teen but I knew very well he was a fully grown adult. after hugging me he teleported close to the door and said a quick goodbye but stopping and turning around to say one more thing.

"...thanks for believing in me king fluffy buns." sans said with a big smile one that held hope that he was lacking when he first came in.

"anytime sans." I said while waving. with a last goodbye he left.
