I sat on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. I felt tears pour down my face as I silently sobbed on my bed. She was really gone. I cried harder as I lay there, thinking about all of our fond memories. I had grown up with that dog, loved her, cared for her, but then she got sick.

I cried as I remembered the good times we had together, she was with me through everything. I also cried when I remembered how she got sick, how devastated I was as I tried to help her. And then today, I finally had to put her down.

I sobbed harder as I reminisced. Then the door slid open with a hiss.

"Cyar'ika?", it was Boba. He stepped through the door, the hallways white light pouring into my dark room. I couldn't stop my tears as I looked over at him. His face turned from worried to shocked as he set down his helmet and walked over to me. I embraced him when he got close enough and he gently placed his hands on my back .

"What happened?" He gently asked as he rubbed circles on my back.

"She's gone" I managed to stutter out. I heard Boba sigh as he pulled back to look down at my face. "Bambi?" He asked and I nodded and began to cry harder at the sound of her name. He gently placed his hand on my face and wiped away my tears as he looked at me with love.

"You must be exhausted from all this crying Cyar'ika," He was right I was tired. I had cried for a while now. I simply nodded at his statement and he gave me a soft smile.

"I will change out of this armor and then we can sleep all right, you stay right here" He said and I nodded as I laid back down on the bed. I didn't have to wait long as he quickly returned in a simple shirt and pants.

He climbed into bed beside me and began to gently stroke my hair. I had finally stopped crying but my heart was still broken. Boba pulled me closer to him, putting my face into his chest. I relaxed against his body, my exhaustion finally showing as I felt on the verge of falling asleep.

"It will all be all right" He muttered and I nodded.

As I relaxed he continued to talk. I am sure he was mumbling more to himself than to me but it was comforting. His voice finally relaxed me enough until I fell asleep against him.

I woke up to a gentle hand on my arm shaking me awake. Grumbling, I looked up and saw Boba standing over me.

"Good Morning Cyar'ika, How are you feeling?" He asked, I slowly sat up, my head throbbing slightly from dehydration as I looked over at him. "Better" I mumbled, rubbing my eyes.

"Why don't we go out today? Your birthday is in a few days anyways" He stopped for a moment as he carefully thinking over his words, "We can go exploring, or shopping, on some planet we stop at, take your mind of things". I smiled at him, he was really putting effort into making me feel better. I sighed slightly before nodding, his smile lighting up.

"Wonderful" He clapped, "I'll set a course" He said and I smiled. "I'll get ready" I said and he smiled as I slowly got out of bed.

Boba left the room and I got up. I tried not to cry as I thought of Bambi again. I went to my closet and grabbed out a new outfit for the day. After I had gotten dressed and brushed both my teeth and hair I headed out of my room for the first time in a while. I walked over to the cockpit and found Boba.

I sat down next to him and he looked over at me with a gentle smile.

"Where to captain?" I asked with a laugh. Boba rolled his eyes before replying, "Naboo, they have a lot of shops I thought that you would like" He said and I couldn't help but smile. I hadn't been there since I was little. I sat back in the seat as I stared into space. I missed Bambi a lot but I'm glad Boba was making an effort to help me, he was always very thoughtful.

It was not long before we arrived at Naboo. The planet was even prettier than I remembered as we got closer to the surface. Boba landed in a small hangar and we both grabbed our things and headed off the ship. Naboo had a beautiful floral smell and warmed me as I stepped into the bright sunlight. Boba quickly went to pay for out stay but I just admired the planet, Bambi would have loved it here.

Boba returned and gently placed a hand on my shoulder taking me out of my daze.

"Come on, there's lots to see" He said before gently grabbing my hand and leading me out to the street.

I was even more in awe when I saw the city. It was bustling and full of vibrant colors. I admired the bright, elaborate clothing of the people that passed by. Boba led me down the street as I admired all the beautiful stands full of unique and bizarre fruits as well as many new fabrics and jewlery I had no seen before.

I was especially intrigued by one stand with beautiful dresses and other accesories. Boba noticed and led me into the store. I admired the unique dresses, one in particular I enjoyed more than the others. It was a deep blue with beautiful gold detailings. I stared at it for a bit before Boba grabbed it. I turned aaround and he looked at me with a smile.

"No wait, it's probably expensive" I said trying to grab it back from him.

He let out a laugh at he held it away from me. He walked over to the woman working and handed it to her. He looked back at me again and smirked at my dissapointed face. He paid for the dressed before turning back to me.

"Come on Cyar'ika there's so much more to see" He said leading me out of the shop. I quickly forgot about him buying the overpriced dress as I continued to look around the city.

We wandered around for hours, eating strange food, seeing unique art, and many other things. Before long the sun was setting and we were returning to the ship. We returned to the ship and Boba handed me the dress.

"Why don't you try it on?" He asked and I smiled and quickly rushed off to our room to change.

I tried on the dress and it fit perfectly. It was just asa beautiful as it looked. I left the room and Boba saw me an unmistakable blush crossing his face. He walked over to me gently placing his hands on my waist, looking into my eyes.

"Are you feeling better Cyar'ika?" He asked gently. I took a deep breath and nodded. I put my head into his chest and he put his arms around me. "It's okay that you're sad, I'm just glad I could help a little bit" He said and I smiled.
