Commander Cody

Summary: 

After Y/N's master dies in action, the Jedi Councils places her in
 Obi Wan's care to continue her training. Through her time on his cruiser,
she becomes close with Commander Cody and soon forms a connection.

I looked down at the cold base from the vents. I saw droids approaching as my master entered the room. She was supposed to stay on the ship. I watched as she flawlessly cut the droids apart, her fighting always seemed like dancing to me, I was never too skilled with a saber so I envied her but I also admired her skill.

Her sword swung down at the last of the droids, and she looked up at the vents and smiled. I wish that was it, but then I heard it, light sabers ignite. She quickly turned at the ready as she seemed slightly frightened.

It wasn't long until I could see the mystery figure as well, General Grievous. He stood there as he spoke, "Another Saber for my collection". His words were disgusting. Before long, the fight had begun. My master fought valiantly, but I felt her fear and then I understood she was losing.

The fight continued on for what seemed like an eternity. Then her light saber was knocked away, and he looked down at her. I wanted to call out, but fear held my words.

He stabbed through her, and her body fell. I felt her death as I sat there in the vents. I knew I had to escape, to flee. I quietly crawled back through the vents until I reached where I had entered. I climbed out and jumped down until I reached the ship.

I knew I had to hurry.

I quickly got into the ship and started it as I started the ship and flew off as fast as I could. I looked around until I found the comms system. I quickly sent out a signal to the nearest cruiser it could pick up.

I sat there for a few moments in the heavy silence before they answered the call.

I saw a hologram; it was Kenobi.

"Master Kenobi," I said. He stood there a moment before he talked.

"What is the matter?" He said, I tried to hold back tears.

"She's gone" I stated, and he froze.

"I will send our location to you, please come to the cruiser," He said, I nodded.

"Please contact the council," I said, and he nodded.

The call ended shortly after. I saw the coordinates come through and quickly entered them into the navigation system. I sat there as I felt an absence in my heart. I had known her for many years, ever since I was young and just like that she's gone.

I had always thought we were safer on scouting missions away from the enormous battles, but I suppose death isn't just in battles. I sat there as the ship flew closer to the coordinates.

I saw the cruiser, and I turned off autopilot as I navigated into the hangar bay and landed the ship. I went to the back of the ship and the ramp came down as I exited the ship. I looked around for a moment before I found Master Kenobi.

I walked over to him, unsure of what words I could even say. I reached him and he smiled an understanding smile at me.

"Come, let's take a walk up to the bridge" He said, and I nodded as I walked beside him.
