"Tech!" I yelled out as I looked down at the ship's console.

I wasn't usually put in charge of piloting the ship, for good reason, tonight I had a night shift, essentially not touching anything. And now a button was flashing, it did not normally do that I think.

"Tech!" I yelled out getting up, I went to open the door and practically ran into Hunter.

"You're going to wake everyone else up" He grumbled as he looked down at me.

"Do you know pilot stuff?" I asked and he nodded.

"Some button is making weird flashing things, I don't know words, just please help" I mumbled out and he sighed and walked forward. I sped up and walked to the console pointing to the button that was flashing.

"We need to get gas" He grumbled looking over at me, I blushed slightly out of embarrassment as he looked at me.

"Like, urgently?" I said and he chuckled slightly.

"You're good" He said as he began to walk back towards the exit, "And please don't yell again like that, just come wake me up" He said and I nodded as he left. It was quiet again as I sat back down, that was so embarrassing. They must all think I am so stupid.

I'm going to try and think, what I am good at.

This is hopeless. I grumbled as I slouched into my chair. I pulled my legs over the side and tried to get comfortable in the chair as I sat there trying to ignore my feelings as I sat there.

"Good Morning Y/N" Tech said and I sat up lightly, my neck began to throb, I must have slept funny on it. I rubbed my neck as I fixed my posture.

"Mornin' Tech" I mumbled and he looked over at me.

"That did not look comfortable" He commented and I chuckled.

"It wasn't," I replied.

The doors to the cockpit opened and Omega ran in and quickly over to me.

"Hide me!" She yelled playfully. I laughed slightly as I picked her up and sat her on my lap, wrapping my large jacket around her.

Wrecker came running through the door next.

"Have any of you seen Omega?" He said and Omega giggled in my jacket.

"I hear her" He said walking in, he looked over and saw my jacket and walked closer.

"She isn't here" I said trying to hide my grin. He looked at me then back at the jacket, then Omega quickly burst out and ran around the chair and towards the door. Wrecker quickly followed suit and ran, grabbing her and lifting her up, in a fit of giggles. I laughed too as the pair walked off.

"It's like having two children on board" Tech said slightly and I laughed, "Don't act like you don't find it fun" I said and he smiled at my comment but didn't respond.

Echo entered then, looking over at me then to Tech.

"Need something?" I asked looking back at him and he shrugged.

"Hunter is being rude so I'm trying to find somewhere to hide" He said and I smiled as I got up.

"You can keep this hardass company" I said and Tech looked at me with his mouth wide open and I laughed as I left the cockpit, closing the door behind me. I yawned as I walked into the hull of the ship to find Wrecker and Omega playing Dejarik and Hunter sitting drinking Caf looking tired. I walked over to him and he looked up and over at me.

"Sorry if I kept you up" I said as I sat across from him and he sighed slightly, "I couldn't sleep anyways, I'll be fine" He said and I frowned lightly at him. "I got more sleep than you, and I was on night watch duty" I said and he looked quizzically at me, "Is that something you want to brag about?" He joked and I rolled my eyes at him.

"You should take a nap though, it's what I'm going to do" I said and he shook his head lightly.

"Too busy" He murmured and I groaned slightly.

"Can I show you something?" I said, I have a great idea.

"I'm not sure how much I trust you," He joked and I sighed as I stood up looking over to him. He continued to look at me, trying to gage what I was doing to no avail. I grabbed his hand and pulled him from the table, and towards out sleeping area.

I opened the door to the bunks and pushed him inside lightly.

"What exactly are you showing me?" He asked looking over at me and I shook my head, "Okay, now lay down on your bunk" I said and he did, still looking over at me. I then quickly moved back, turning off the light as I stood in the doorway.

"Now sleep!" I said and closed the door.

"Brilliant" I murmured to myself as I walked towards the cockpit, opening the door again and Echo looked over at me.

"What's got you so excited?" He asked and I smiled even bigger, "I got Hunter to sleep" I said and he laughed slightly.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that if I were you" He said, and I looked at him confused.

"I thought you were the one that wanted to nap," Hunter whispered into my ear, making me jump slightly as I turned to him.

"Kriff you scared me" I grumbled and he laughed.

"Why don't you go to sleep?" He was mocking my attempt from earlier. "You know magically I'm not tired anymore" I said with a shrug and he sighed lightly. I turned to walk into the cockpit when the door closed in front of me.

"Real Mature" I said turning to Hunter who was smiling like a little kid.

"Sleep" He said, this time much more serious. I looked at him, blushing slightly at his surprising change in tone.

"I don't think I will" I said matter of factly as I walked past him, I then felt a strong arm wrap around my stomach and pull me back, stopping me from walking. I looked over at Hunter pouting slightly.

He ignored me though as he moved to the bunks again, opening the door and pulling me inside. He closed the door behind him, leaving us in darkness as he walked me over to a bunk setting me down.

"This isn't my bunk" I groaned, trying to sit up and move but was met by his hand lightly grabbing my arm as he sat beside me on the bed.

"I know" He said, his calm voice making me blush more, I'm so glad it's dark.

I yawned slightly, and I heard him chuckle.

"See, you are tired" He said as he laid down beside me.

"So are you," I said, motioning to him.

"You caught me" He said as he gently pulled my arm and I laid down beside him.

"At least this way I can make sure you sleep" I said and he gently reached out a hand, brushing my hair out of my face.

"And I can make sure you sleep" He said and I smiled. I moved my body closer to his, and he wrapped his arms around me as I buried my head in his chest.

"Is this okay?" I asked, and he nodded, "Of course." He said he was always so casual about things that made my heart race.

I moved slightly, my leg gently fitting between his as we laid there, his calm breathing and steady heartbeat lulling me into a much needed sleep.
