He always helps, he always puts everyone before him. He hasn't done anything wrong, so god, why did you do this to him? Why did you give this disease to him and not me?

Rain pounded against the roof and windows of Kageyama's small condo. The sky was clouded with grey and the wind was stronger than usual. An alarm clock buzzed echoing its way throughout the almost empty space. Kageyama rolled over and slammed his hand down on it. The buzzing stopped and he sat up quickly, rubbing his eyes.
He walked towards his bathroom and looked in the mirror. His eyes were low with slight bags under them. They were also bloodshot from crying all night. His skin was pale and his lips were slightly chapped.
He turned on the sink and dipped his head into the water stream. He grabbed a towel and dried himself, then put on deodorant and brushed his teeth.
He changed into sweats and a white t-shirt and grabbed his bag. He grabbed an apple off the counter and slipped on his shoes, clutching his umbrella. After a ten minute walk to the bus stop and two buses later, he finally reached his destination.
He looked up at the giant hospital towering over the city. He quickly entered, checked in and made his way to the fifth floor. The smell of death, hand sanitizer and blood hit him instantly, almost making him sick. It was almost 8 am, meaning he was a bit early. He walked down the hall, waved at a few familiar faces then stopped at the last door on the right.
His eyes were glued to the floor for a minute, then he put on a fake smile. He slid open the door and looked at the hospital bed. A boy with orange curly hair was sitting up, staring out the window.
His head turned towards Kageyama and he smiled. "Tobio!" he yelled excitedly.
"Shoyo" Kageyama replied in a shakey but happy tone. Hinata tilted his head and made a suspicious face. "Somethings off" he spoke quietly.
"Nothing is, have you taken your medicine yet" Kageyama asks sitting on the edge of the bed.
"No.." he replied in a whisper. Kageyama glanced at him then sighed. "You have to..even if you don't want to" he replied, grabbing the container off the small counter.
"I don't need it, I'm getting better" Hinata said crossing his arms. "You do need it, it's not that bad.." Kageyama says in a more stern voice.
"I don't need it!" Hinata says with a pouty face "you should be happy I'm getting better"
Kageyama slammed his fist on the counter and looked down at his feet. Hinata jumped at the sound then looked at him with a saddened expression.
"I'm so happy..so happy.." he says with tears forming in his eyes, his voice cracking "but you still have to take your medicine, so take your medicine please, for me Sho"
Hinata was silent, he grabbed the water off the table and swallowed the pills. Kageyama kept his head down and reached in his bag.
"I got you something.." Kageyama says with a sniffle, holding a brown bag in Hinata's face. Hinata was starting to frown, seeing how upset Kageyama was.
