"So the entire house just heard me cum down your throat." I deadpanned to the woman still on her knees in front of me. My spine was rigid, steeling me to the spot.
"Probably some people outside too." Andromeda's Cheshire grin was the only thing she wore as she rose to stand before my gaze. "I don't mind them hearing you scream as long as it's my name coming out of your mouth." My fingers wove through her hair, and I yanked her head towards me forcefully.
I spoke softly against her mouth, "Your name will be the only one I ever call out, Andromeda." I kissed her just barely on the lips before releasing her entirely. Stepping backwards only once, I took in the sight of my mate fully naked in front of me for the first time. Even with the light setting through the window beyond, Andromeda looked radiant. The blonde curls slightly crazed from our jaunt through the woods and the ravaging of my own hands. Her grey eyes were sparkling with more than just mischief, but also desire. I knew she was inspecting me just as thoroughly as I was her. Lips parted, slightly damp from my own and still swollen from the force with which they had fucked me only moments before, my eyes moved south down her neck and bare shoulders. They sloped elegantly downwards to her heaving chest. Rounded but heavier on the bottom, her breasts were softly natural and perfectly suited to her body. I couldn't wait to have them in my mouth and under my hands. Andromeda's waist narrowed in smoothly before flaring out to very full hips. A true hourglass figure in every sense, her hips were wide-set and in balance with her heavy chest and strong shoulders. My eyes continued to trace the outline of the barely-there light around the outside of her figure. Just enough shadow covered the front of her body that her lower half was too dark to view. My cock stirred again, pointing itself towards what it wanted.
"If only we had time, Atlas." Andromeda was looking towards me with a near evil glint in her eye as she took in the rising sail of my erection in front of her. "When we mate, we are going to take our time. Unhurried, unrushed." She stepped closer to me slowly, one hand reaching up to lightly trace across my chest. Her fingernails were still sharp. "But we will both have to be ready," Andromeda dropped her gaze as well as her hand as she took multiple steps away from me. "I don't want to mess this up, Atlas. I keep forgetting that you have no idea about pack life or how any of this works." She turned to face away from me as she continued. Her naked back and the rounded curve of her ass only a slight distraction to the words coming out of her mouth. "I heard what you said to Jason, about you being worried about messing things up between us. But I'm worried that I am going to scare you off or that you won't want to deal with all of the shit my life encompasses." Her shoulders were stiff and ram-rod straight, refusing to curl or cower away from the fear I knew she was feeling. "You had a human life before me and it had to be easier than what is coming for you if you stay here." She turned her head partially to face me. Her grey eyes were clear and strong. "I was born into this, Atlas. It's all I've ever known. But you could go if you wanted."
I moved towards her, wrapping my arms around her middle as she rubbed her hands up and down my skin. My front was pressed against her back as we sighed together, me kissing the back of her head. "Wolves have an entirely different culture than you are used to. A whole social structure with our own rules and traditions." Andromeda pushed her head back onto my shoulder, raising one of her hands to the back of my head, weaving her fingers into my hair and bringing us cheek to cheek. "I swear I wasn't trying to hide you, Atlas. I would never be ashamed of you. But the Alpha's mate has to be formally introduced to the pack. You have to meet my Beta and Delta first, then usually any direct family members before you can be presented to the whole of the pack."
Understanding washed over me. Though Andromeda looked every part the red-blooded human woman, she wasn't. She had an entire community that goes back generations untouched by the humans living on the other side of the forest. I was relieved that she wasn't rushing me through the house in an attempt to hide me, but in an effort to adhere to tradition as best she could given the circumstances.
