Swimming

Someone began jumping on me as I was I suddenly woke up.

"Wake up! Wake up!" Nelly sang still jumping on me.

"Not now Nelly." I groaned flipping over on my stomach.

"Someone did sleep well, what's up?" She asked as she stopped jumping on me.

"Nothing I'm just tired." I said.

"Okay well get your beautiful ass up and get ready we are watching Adams game today remember?" She said.

"I thought that was in the afternoon." I said rubbing my eyes.

"No silly." She said.

I got up as I had my eyes closed walking out to go to the bathroom.

I ended up bumping into someone as i opened my eyes seeing Beau.

"What happened to you?" He asked.

"I'm just so tired." I said.

"Aww little Emmy is tired." He said in a baby voice as I groaned walking into the bathroom and washing my face. I looked at my reflection and dang I look horrible.

I brushed my teeth and got changed as I noticed my bruise has gotten more purple. I sighed as I didn't want to touch it.

"Lets go." I told Nelly as she cheered.

We went downstairs as Nelly sat down between Luke and Jai as they were watching t.v while I went into the kitchen.

"Goodmorning darling." My mother greeted me.

"Goodmorning." I said.

"I came home last night and you were already asleep." She said as she was brewing coffee.

"Yeah, had a long day yesterday so I just crashed." I told her grabbing an apple and walking out.

"Beau can you drop Nelly and me to school?" I asked him.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because Adam wants us to watch his swimming race." Nelly said as he nodded grabbing his keys.

We said goodbye to everyone as we hopped into the car driving away.

"You guys made it!" Adam said as he came up to us.

"Yeah good luck." Nelly said to him.

He smiled, "Thanks Nelly."

He jogged to his team while Nelly and I found a seat.

"He remembers my name." Nelly fangirled.

I chuckled as I was watching the guys warm up.

"So did you and Jake have sex yesterday?" She asked me as I chocked on air.

"No, Nelly you know I'm not ready for that, I'm too young. And I dont think Jake would be the guy I would want to do my first time with." I answered truthfully.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because I don't know, he seems different than before." I said trying not to give anything away.

"How?" She asked.

I sighed, "I don't know." I lied.

The race began as we were cheering for Adam, he was in the lead. He ended up winning with the timing of 1:13 seconds!

We all cheered as everyone was clapping.

The game was still going with the other team members as we were cheering them on as well. Then the last person who had to race was getting ready and I just couldn't take my eyes off of him.

"Nelly who is that?" I asked her pointing to the guy.

"Oh thats Nick, he's Adams best mate." She replied as I nodded smiling at him even though he's not even looking at me.

The race was over as our team won so we were all happy about that. People were leaving as Nelly said she wants to wait for Adams so she could congratulate him. As we were waiting he came as he smiled coming towards us with Nick.

My palms became sweaty as I was getting nervous.

"Congratulations, you guys did so well!" Nelly cheered.

"Thank you, and thank you girls for coming and supporting us." He said as I said 'No problem.'

"Hey we have a party we are going to head out, to celebrate do you guys want to come?" Nick asked us but looking at me.

Nelly looked at me giving the look that she wants to go.

"Nelly could go, I'll think I'll pass." I said.

"You sure?" Adam asked me.

"Yeah I'm sure have fun." I said as they thanked me and Nelly hugged me and left with them.

I grabbed my phone putting it in my pocket as I walked out beginning to walk back home.

As I was walking I felt as if someone was behind me so I kind of started to walk faster.

Then I felt my hair getting pulled as i winced in pain falling backwards.

I looked up as I was on the ground, seeing Kristen and her squad looking at me.

"I told you go stay away from Adam but you dont listen do you?" She said.

"Oh sorry, didn't know that I have to stay away from Adam while you can fucking makeout with my boyfriend." I said about to get up but she kicked me back down and stepping on me.

"Listen bitch, you better tell no one about me and Jake." She warned.

"Really I was thinking about telling Adam." I said sarcastically as she growled. She took her foot off as she began kicking me with her friends.

Once she kicked me right on my bruise thats when I became weak. She laughed as she stopped and walked away as I just laid there for a while.

I got back up as I fixed myself and limped my way back home trying not to cry as I was in so much pain.

I entered in the house as I heard the guys laughing and talking.

I walked in as they all were looking at me.

"Hey Emma how was it?" Jai asked me.

"It was good." I replied as I tried walking normally across the room so I can go to my room upstairs.

"Why dont you tell me about it?" I heard a familiar voice as I stopped walking and looked behind me. I wanted to cry right there and scream. But I just can't. It was Jake.
