111 years later....

In a house in the town of Morioh in the year 1999...

Smashing the buttons on the controller, Josuke Higashikata's blue eyes were glued to the TV screen, sitting in the living room as he was determined to win the level in the video game he was playing. "Come on! I'm almost there!" Josuke commented to himself, he was almost at the end of the level. He almost expected his mom to tell him to go to bed as it was already late at night. But oddly, she hasn't said anything about that yet. "Woohoo! I did it!" Josuke chimed with a lite smile as his character made it to the end of the level. It was always nice to feel a victory, even if it was just winning in a video game. "Josuke, you should turn the game off." Tomoko Higashikata, Josuke's mother, suggested. "Oh, but I'm on a hot streak here! Just one more level, please?" Josuke begged, knowing that bedtime was likely upon him. "No, tonight is going to be an important night for you. A family member from your father's side is coming over to meet you." Tomoko told him. "But I've already met Jotaro and Joseph, who else is left for me to meet?" Josuke asked. "I wasn't told much but you're going to meet the oldest living family member." Tomoko replied, it seemed like she didn't know much about who it was. "Oh? Well, this is going to be interesting." Josuke replied. "He should be here by any minute now." Tomoko added.

Just then, the doorbell rang. "I'll go get it." Josuke spoke as he saved his game and turned it off. Standing up, Josuke walked over to the front wooden door and opened it up. But to his partial surprise, Josuke saw a 6ft 5in tall muscular man with blue eyes and blue hair wearing a blue suit and bowtie standing in front of him. The man was also wearing a scarf around his mouth. "Is this the Higashikata household?" the man politely asked, his voice soft with a civil touch. "Um, yes. I'm guessing you're the one who is going to visit me, right?" Josuke replied. "Indeed! May I come in?" the man asked. "Of course! Come in and make yourself comfortable." Josuke responded, having a good feeling about this man from his friendly aura. Nodding his head, the blue haired man walked in and sat down on one of the chairs in the living room. Oddly though, it didn't take off his scarf. "So, who are you?" Josuke asked as he sat down on a couch next to him. "I am your grandfather, father to your father Joseph. I am Jonathan Joestar." Jonathan introduced himself. "What? You're my grandpa?!" Josuke replied, a little surprised at the reveal. "Yes, I am the first JoJo. The one that went on the first bizarre adventure. I came here to talk to you about something important." Jonathan added. "But, you look like you're 20 at most! Grandpas don't look that young." Josuke pointed out.

"I will explain that and much more to you tonight. It's a pleasure to meet you Josuke. I'm always happy to see a new member in the Joestar bloodline." Jonathan responded, still maintaining an air of politeness around him. "It's nice to meet you too, Jonathan." Josuke replied. "I quite like your hair. It seems my descendants always know how to look wonderful in their own special ways." Jonathan commented, smiling under the scarf. "There's something a little bizarre about you. I just can't put my finger on it." Josuke commented. Why would a guy claiming to be his grandpa look like he's 20? It didn't make much sense. In fact Joskue started to notice other strange things about Jonathan. First, he noticed that his eyes were unusual with the black pupils being in a slit shape rather than a circle. Joskue also noticed that Jonathan was wearing gloves, gloves that were oddly pointy at the ends like they were covering sharp nails. "Josuke, I have to tell you about the secret of the Joestar bloodline." Jonathan told him as he then started to take off his brown scarf. "The secret of the Joestar bloodline?" Josuke spoke, a little confused by Jonathan. Then Jonathan fully took off his scarf, revealing his mouth. It looked normal except for his skin being unusually pale.

"Josuke, the secret is that everyone in the Joestar family, including you, is at least part vampire." Jonathan told him as he revealed his long sharp white fangs. "Whaaa? You have got to be kidding, right? That's just so strange!" Josuke quaked, shocked at Jonathan's fangs and what he just told him. "I know it may seem hard to believe but I am a real and full vampire. Everyone in the bloodline, like Joseph, Jotaro and you is part vampire." Jonathan added, ready to help calm Josuke down if he was going to have a big freak-out. "But vampires aren't real!" Josuke pointed out. "But you have a spirit that punches and yells at things for you. Won't it be easy to believe that other supernatural things can exist in this world as well?" Jonathan countered. "Fair point there. But wait, you say I'm part vampire but I think I'm 100% human! Explain that." Josuke brought up. "Well, since I'm a full vampire and my son, Joseph is a half vampire, that means you are about ¼ vampire. It's somewhat weak in you, to a point where sunlight doesn't harm you and you don't get most of the powers. Basically, it's weak to a point where you likely don't notice it. But you are part vampire, have you ever noticed that you have slighter sharp canines? Or that you are stronger than your peers? Or that you might have a liking to having your steaks rare?" Jonathan explained, trying his best to explain it to his grandson.
