Chapter 6: parting ways

Jake's POV

The last I remembered I was on Changes ship, fighting change himself, then I Just blacked out, next thing I know I'm unconsciousness outside a stone wall with everyone else

Yang: you idiot, do you know how worried we were

she came over in my direction, I thought for a second that she was going to yell at me or beat the crap out of me, but she just gently punch me in the arm

Yang:  don't scare me like that again

Jake: can't exactly promise that now can I

we both let out a small laugh

Jake 2: kids these days

Jake: Nice to see you are okay as well

Jake 2: seriously though what happened, your hair was blue, your voice was deeper, and you did crazy mumbo Jumbo strange magic

Ivor: That was super nova

everyone Jumped out of their skins when a strange man appeared out of nowhere, he had slick black hair, a long beard and wears an olive green coat and pants. He also wears a belt with a lapis lazuli gem on it. 

Jesse: Ivor, Where did you come from?

Ivor: well Jesse the answer to that simple, I am a traveler, I have traveled far and wide, this universe and all others

Jake: wait a minute, you said this universe, you know about the omniverse?

Jake 2: omni what now?

Ivor let a smirk slide onto his face

Ivor: you know alot for a human, then again I would expect nothing less from you

???: nice to see you haven't lost your sense of humor i4

Ivor:  likewise

I looked at the blue haired boy and back at Ivor in confusion 

Jake: you can see him?

Jake 2: okay before we get too off track, I want answers

Ivor: very well, it is time you all knew the truth, my true name is not ivor, it is i4, and I am a being far surpassing any of your wildest imaginations. long ago before anything a great king ruled over every multiverse, and this one, the one we are all standing in, is a prototype multiverse, a test multiverse if you will

so that's what that guy meant when he said prototype multiverse

Jake: so then what does that make him and me (points at Jake 2 and himself)

i4: well you two are the same person, he is Just a prototype, and by the looks of it a much older one at that, but I am not Just here to educate you

me and everyone else looked at each other 

Jake: then why are you here?

i4: because you did not defeat change, he still lives

Jake and Jake 2: WHAT!

i4: he is, how some might put it, a ghost, going from universe to universe in the form of your counterparts Jake, now we must stop him before he causes anymore destruction, my question to you is, are you willing to help

Jake 2: are you serious, of course I am going to help, I owe you guys anyway for helping me stop change the the first time

Jesse: you can count us in to

Jess: heck yeah

i4: very well, say your goodbyes for now and go into town, I will meet with you shortly

Jake 2, Jesse, and Jess looked at their friends, hugging them and giving cool handshakes, Jess kissed that blonde boy lucas before heading into the town with Jesse, meanwhile Jake 2 was saying goodbye to me

Jake 2: well little me, this is where we part  ways, I hope maybe someday we will meet again

Jake: I hope as well old me, til next time

me and Jake 2 shook hands and he went off into the distance

Zarya: well that was interesting

Yang: yeah no kidding

i4: but in the end you guys helped save the day, looks like I was right to bring you here

I nearly lost my balance when he said those words, it was him who brought us here

Jake: you!?

i4: yes, but do not fear, I brought you here, and I can also send you back, farewell

before I could say another word, we were surrounded by green tornado, when it parted we were back on our ship

D.A.N.I.E.L: ah there you are sir, I was wondering where you went, as I was saying would like to hear the explanation behind my creation

My feet were still a bit wobbly from our last adventure, and what an adventure it had been, doppelgangers, time travel, and a fight with an evil mastermind

Jake: maybe later D.A.N.I.E.L, for now I need rest, I need to process what Just happened

D.A.N.I.E.L: very well, please go down the left path to your quarters

we all went though the left path and found five rooms that belonged to each of us, they were all nicely decorated. after saying goodnight to everyone I headed into my room, there were some clothes that were very soft and comfortable, I put them on and layed down in the bed rubbing my hands though my hair

Jake: holy crap

it was then that the thumbing in my head returned, and at the same time my heart was hurting, it was a very painful experience. when the thumbing and hurting ended I was treated with another strange sight. a ruined city with a sky of grey, three figures were looking at the sky, at another set of three figures that were standing on top of a ruined but still standing building, they held their hands in the sky, then a massive ball of energy formed, it was thrown at the figures on the ground, a explosion erupted later, destroying the planet and everything on it. I found myself back in my bed, that was the future, it had to be, that would happen in the next universe if Chronos isn't stopped. this was going to end with one of us being victorious, and you better believe that it is going to be me.
