*Reyna POV*
I sat with Thalia waiting for all the Hogwarts students to finish breakfast and come outside. I hope at least some of them can do this obstacle course. It's not even that hard; the ones at both camps are much harder than this one. Only demigods who have trained for a few years are allowed to use those obstacle courses. They finally finish their breakfast and come out in their small groups; well except for Harry no one really likes him right now so he's alone. We gather everyone and explain the plans for today. I hear a few groans and I tell them to shut up. Then I start to show them how to do the obstacle course while getting as few injuries as possible and in the shortest amount of time.
I run to the lava wall and start to climb it. Lava begins to pour down so I quickly get out of the way. When I reach the top I turn around and begin my decent. After I get a little more than halfway down I jump off the to bottom and hear a few gasps. I then run to the ropes and swing across. The ropes cover the length of a football field with a 20 foot drop into a pool of freezing water if you fall. I make it across the ropes and run to the weird spinning thing to climb. I get to the top and run across the thin plank to get to the platform.
I turn to the wizards and say, "Now that is how you complete the obstacle course without it harming you, but other people will be with you and they're allowed to use any methods they want to get you off other than magic. None of you will be allowed to use magic and if you do you will be disqualified. This will be completed by first years, then second years, and so on through to seventh years. So first years line up and begin when you hear the horn blow; when it blows again the first person has finished and it will be over."
They were lined up and Percy blew the horn. It took a long time for them to finish, but as older people came it went a bit quicker. In the end there were only a few injuries that we had to take care of but nothing major or life threatening. So these are the people who won for all years:
First Years: Abbi Kirk from Gryffindor
Second Years: Caroline Lent from Ravenclaw
Third Years: Jamie Berntsen from Gryffindor
Fourth Years: Jeff Felton from Slytherin
Fifth Years: Tom Berk from Hufflepuff
Sixth Years: Jenn Tiller from Slytherin
Seventh Years: Ron Weasley from Gryffindor
When this was done it was time for lunch and when they came back out we would start to see who could use what weapon after Percy and Jessie fight each other. We quickly eat and begin to set up all the weapons and arenas. I really hope at least some of them will be good with a weapon.
*Ron POV*
That obstacle course was really hard. The girl Reyna who showed us how to do it was really good at it. I can't believe she did it so fast, but then again all the demigods here have been training for a long time and she said that she's done harder ones than the one here. I still can't believe I won. Ginny had been right behind me with Hermionie behind her. I'm already really tired and there's still more for us to do. If this is gonna happen every Friday then I don't know how I'm gonna do it. It's hard to believe that they have been doing stuff like the obstacle course and harder for at least 5 years. I had a lot for lunch because I knew I would need a lot of energy and boy was I right.
