Chapter Five: Who's that?

Hey everyone! sorry for not posting in a while, I've lost motivation and school is stressing me out.

After a while of talking, Moony started spacing out. It has been a while since people were at her place, and most of it wasn't very clean. She just wasn't big on the whole "cleaning" thing. Her eyes traced every corner of her room for a while before setting on something...strange. And object. Fairy round, with two giant white dots on it. Curiosity filled her mind and she got up to observe it. Moony picked it up and turned it around in her hands, it was pretty pick, around the size of a soccer ball. She thought it was one of the other's, but when she checked, nobody knew what it was. "Weird." Merci commented, grabbing it from Moony, "It's cute though! The dots look like eyes!" she was right, it was kind of cute. Ena yoinked it back and stared at it, "It's the size of my head.." she mumbled, offended. Merci laughed, "'cause you're SHORT!" Merchant shot a glare at her, "Merci, that's rude!" but he was also holding back a smile. They joked around with it for a bit until it got boring, than it sat on Moony's kitchen table until everyone went home at sundown. They decided for the best that they would all depart so nothing else happens. Once everyone was gone Moony walked over to put away the soda she brought out during the night, and accidentally knocked over the orb. "Oh sh-!" she yelped, surprised as the orb crashed against the floor and shattered, glass going everywhere. Moony sighed loudly and went to pick up the bigger pieces of glass to throw out. But she noticed something.. "what the fuck!?". Inside of the pile of glass was a small, square camera, perfectly placed in the orb. Moony was horrified. " Was someone STALKING us!?" she yelled allowed, taking the camera and stepping on it, breaking it immediately. Moony paused and thought to herself the millions of ways someone would've gotten into her  house and purposely put a camera to spy on her with. Why would they need to spy on her? Does this have something to do with what Merci was warning everyone about!? Moony's head was spinning as she picked up the thick shards of glass and threw them out. How much information did they get!? Are they still in here!? She grabbed a decent knife and went around her house 10 times before confirming nobody was lurking in her house. Moony debated on whether or not to call up Merchant, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨.. she sighed, she would deal with it in the morning. Even after all of that, her day went well and she doesn't want to ruin that, so she went right to bed. 

Oh, what a bad idea that was.

Moony woke up. Something was happening. Her door was open and everything around her was a disaster. But that wasn't what ticked off her red flags, what did, was the large looming figure looking at her from beside her bed.

Ena had been getting bad vibes all night. As soon as she left Moony's house she felt...paranoid, unsafe. But she left anyways, not wanting to bother anyone. But now, Ena lays awake, laying in her bed with her lamp light on, sometimes checking outside, the sky brightening slowly. She couldn't keep her mind off of the weird feelings in her chest. She's never really experienced any other emotion other than sadness or happiness, but this is different. She feels warm, and tingly around her friends. It's a nice feeling. But right now, she feels dread. Like something might happen, she feels worried sometimes, and angry others. All of these emotions that were welling up inside her burst out at random moments and makes her overwhelmed. Ena is not sure what to do about these feelings. Should she tell her friends? Would they laugh at her? Maybe this isn't something that's supposed to be happening with beings like her? It sure doesn't seem like it. But non-the-less, she lays there, contemplating everything that has gotten her to this point in her life- where she is feeling both dread and happiness. As Ena thinks, the sun rises, bursting through her curtains slowly. After a long time, Ena sits up and stretches her.... blocks...? She gets up and fixes her bed sheets, (not like they were messy anyways), then turns to the door. Oh, how she longed to go to Moony's place, but she might seem needy then, and Moony doesn't like it when Ena is needy and annoying. Which is...always? Ena didn't really understand Moony's feelings towards her, but she will try her best to make sure Moony is always happy! For a moment, the warm feeling fills Ena's body again, thinking about Moony, her mind drifts away from all her other worries and she can feel a smile tug on her lips. 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦.. she thought to herself. After hours of waiting, Ena couldn't take it anymore. She jumped out the door and smiled to herself, Moony's house slowly coming into her line of vision. She got to the doorstep and knocked on the door.....but...nobody answered? It was 3PM, certainly Moony was not sleeping? Ena swallowed her worry and her face brightened. No matter! 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧! she thought, taking out the spare key Moony gave to her for emergencies. That's what friends do, right? Once the door was open, Ena noticed the state of her house, and she froze. Things were everywhere. And I mean, EVERYWHERE. There were papers scattered everywhere, plates smashed and cutlery thrown against the walls. Drawers were pulled out and the couch was on its side. Ena could feel tears in her eyes and her head turned to her blue side. "MOONY!" she shouted, running towards Moony's bedroom. And there she was. Moony. Looking frantic. She took one look at Ena and screamed;

"I'M A SPHERE AGAIN!"
