“You can go now everyone!” our professor announced. “Don’t forget the quiz next week!”

My classmates groaned after hearing that. Some of them rolled their eyes and whispered something. And about that, nag-advance reading na ako para hindi na hassle sa review schedule ko. I’m not comfortable with stock knowledge kung sa una pa lang wala namang knowledge di ba? Nagkanya-kanya na kami ng ayos dahil uwian naman na. 

“Nikko! Wait lang naman! Hintayin mo akis!”

Rinig na rinig sa buong hallway ang sigaw ni Ashley sa buong hallway. Tumigil ako sa paglalakad at tinanaw siyang tumatakbo papunta sa pwesto ko. I rolled my eyes at her when she catch me up. We both started walking hanggang nasa labas na kami ng building.

“Bakit ka ba nagmamadali?” tanong ni Ashley. “Excited ka?”

“Hindi!” I replied at her. “Couz as far as I know, magyaya ka na naman na samahan ka para maglandi o kaya naman samahan ka para sa meet-up. Am I wrong?”

She laughed at me and I just rolled my eyes. She always do that! Akala mo naman mauubusan siya ng lalaki sa mundo!

I just don’t get it when people say that ‘gusto na nila magka-jowa’. I just don’t get it, kung sa huli maghihiwalay lang kayo at iiyak ka. Sayang ang effort at time kung masasayang lang naman sa maling tao di ba?

Some people are even desperate to find a relationship, like what the hell!

May due-date na ba ang love life ngayon? Ano ‘to project?

Call me bitter but that’s the truth. Period!

Naglalakad kami sa may Plaza Mayor kung saan makikita ang Main Building dito sa UST. Some students, especially the Senior High students who are always loud. May iba ‘ring estudyante na naglalakad from other course.

“Uyyy.” Ashley nudged my arm. I looked to her and saw her typing something on her phone. “Samahan mo ko, may ka-date ako ngayon.”

I raised my brow at her giving her a sign that I don’t like that idea.

“Date ba talaga?” I asked her. “Meet up lang naman ata ‘yan tapos hindi na mauulit dahil you both don’t want to commit.”

“Alam mo! Napaka-bitter mo talaga!” turo niya sa’kin. “Did someone break your heart kaya ganyan ka ka-bitter, ha Nikko?!”

“Kailan mo pa nabalitaan na nagkaroon ako ng relasyon?” balik kong tanong sa kanya. “I have no time for that. It’s either an inspiration or a distraction.”
